Size is not correct at all. Specified XL and gloves are not marked for size, couldn’t even get my hand past the cuff !!

These gloves are long, thick, protective, and durable. They appear very professional and my pro techs appreciate they protect them while working and perform exactly like we’d expect at keeping them from stings. The leather and material is high grade. Easy to use, easy to store and very protective.

I was pleased the gloves fit as advertised on the size chart. I used the gloves today and was very pleased they were so pliable since they are thicker hide than the goat skin gloves I had been using. I was getting stung through the goat skin but not these gloves. The sleeves are long but that I can remedy. I’m very pleased with the construction of the gloves.

I need gloves that fit the length of my fingers and don’t have extra glove at the fingertips. These gloves fit my fingers perfectly. And I love that! But the wrists are very tight to get my hand through and it’s a struggle to get the gloves on. I wish the wrist could have more play.

These are the nicest gloves. Really thick which comes in handy when dealing with hot hives. I sized down and that worked so well, they fit really nicely and even though they're thicker (I used to use the thin goatskin gloves and liked those a lot but the stingers can get through those easier than the cowskin). I've been complimented on what good quality they are by master beekeepers, so that says something. The reason for 3 stars is that the elastic inside broke after about 3 uses, that's it. I went to a seamstress who wanted $15 to open it up and fix the elastic so I just came home and put a hair tie around the top instead. If it weren't for that they would get 5 stars.

I have a large cedar hedge that requires clipping and pruning. The hedge is so wide that it requires reaching over the top of the hedge to get to the middle/centre of the hedge in order to prune, and often I would get scratched with branches. With these long arm gloves my arm is protected and scratches no more.The glove portion is very well made, the leather is soft and supple and it is very comfortably worn. This looks like it will last for a very long time, with proper care.

I am a new beekeeper so I don't have experience with other gloves. With my limited frame of reference (these are the only gloves I have ever used), these are fantastic. The long sleeves come up to my biceps. If I don't have my fingers all the way in the end of the gloves fingers, I lose a lot of dexterity. As long as my fingers are all the way into the gloves fingers I feel like a have good dexterity in spite of the barrier between my fingers and whatever I am manipulating. Although the leather is very supple you don't really get much tactile sensation through it. I have only seen one stinger stuck in the finger of the glove and it did not penetrate. These gloves, along with the Humble Bee suit, give me the confidence that I am protected that enables me to relax and enjoy working with my bees. As a beginner, I am in the hive 5 to 6 days a week as I try and learn what is going on with the bees. Over the three weeks I have had my hive, these gloves have kept me from being stung and I have squashed more bees that I care to admit. I'm sure there are other quality golves out there, but these were reasonably priced and so far have offered excellent protection. If I find deficiencies down the road, I will update this post and let you know. After three weeks, I give them a hearty 5 stars.

I am a novice beekeeper and initially just bought a pair of gloves from a bee company. Although I ordered a small, they fit me huge but that was the smallest size offered. One year down the road, I felt like I needed to buy gloves that fit my small hands and wouldn't make it so hard to work around the hive. I was ecstatic when I received them, they are small, perfect and XXS fit me perfectly and they are just long enough to cover over my elbow. I am so happy with my purchase. The leather is a beautiful honey color and very soft and pliable. I can actually grab small items with no problem. I will be buying a spare pair just in case they ever run out of this size. I highly recommend this company as I purchased a bee jacket and it is just so awesome. If you are looking for gloves, look no further, just be sure and measure your hand and compare with their size chart and you can't go wrong.Update: I returned ventilated jacket from HB because it wouldn't protect against Africanized bees because of the ventilation and I accidentally returned these brand new gloves that I had placed inside the cloth pouch with the jacket!😩
