I couldn't be happier with this combo. The tripod is sturdy and easy to use. The laser is spot on and highly visible, even during daylight hours. It makes a nice, crisp and bold laser line that can be seen further than advertised. A less expensive model that doesn't sacrifice quality for price. Highly recommend.

I got this for a bathroom tiling project and the laser itself was fantastic! I certainly recommend this to any DIY’er looking to level up their game. There’s no excuse to not have one of these versatile units. I did have to read the instructions to properly u destined how to use the device, but it is plenty accurate and easy to see for the nonprofessional that won’t be using this daily. It comes with tinted eyewear and a placated to help see the laser at farther distances or in bright conditions, though I have not needed either as of yet. The case will stow everything except the eyewear and is well made to store the unit for long periods between uses. Only real downside would possibly be battery longevity, but I won’t know for a year or so later.I had to take off a star because of the tripod. It’s not the worst construction, but it’s far from quality grade. The quick connect clamp is held on by a cheap screw that only holds by 2 threads and it literally stripped out when trying to attach the laser for the very first use. It’s not any screw you may have lying around, it’s one of those with a smooth shaft that allows the clamp to rotate around it smoothly and is threaded at the very end. Shame this purchase has to be returned/replaced over a penny part.My advice, get the laser option without the tripod and use or get your own separately. Any good quality camera tripod will work and I do recommend one with a circular leveling bubble like this one has. Despite the self leveling feature, you’ll still need your base to be within 3 degrees of level, and a bubble level helps greatly.

String laser at a great price. Useful tripod and additional mounting system. Easy to use, versatile and accurate. Nice case too.

I have been doing a lot of renovating and remodeling a d I have been using a red laser level from HF. But I didn't have a tripod, and it only showed forward crossing lines. When I turned this one on I was like "Whoah!" It shows three green lines, all 360 degrees. It comes with the tripod that has three separate clamps on each leg to go from very low to about four feet. The tripod is nice too. It has a crank to raise or lower the unit, and you can adjust the width of the legs also. The lasers can be set to dim or bright and the bright setting is very visible in daylight. I checked all lines against a bubble level and they are all true. Conveniently, it is rechargeable and includes a carrying case, hard shell case for the unit, and a case with protective eyewear.. I have seen levels like this sell for way more money. This is a good level with a solid build, at a very low price.

This laser is like every other tool I own made by this company, rugged and well made! I see some people refer to them as off brand but I would refer to them as maybe lesser known because there is nothing off about this brand or this product. The case and the laser are tough and durable. The tripod is also a higher quality than most. This particular set comes with everything most people will ever need to use a laser level for. There is only one item that is not included if you need to use the pulse function and that is a laser receiver. The vast majority will never have a real use for the pulse function though as it is only to extend the range of the laser beyond 98 ft. Most people will never have a use beyond 98 ft unless they are working in a truly large space. I've used these type of levels for years and never needed that function. If you're hanging cabinets, installing tile, framing a house, or even just hanging a picture this has you covered right out of the box! I've done a ton of remodeling projects and laser levels always are a needed item. This is a great one with all the gadgets and accessories I'll ever need!

The Huepar unit itself and the storage box seem to be well made. Then tripod leaves something to be desired though - in my opinon, it's a little rickety. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars. Additionally, they give you no instructions on the target. Fortunately, I have a camera tripod that is much better and I can use it with the laser level. Huepar leaves it up to you to know how to use the target. The laser level right out of the box - I tested it to make sure it worked properly. I would recommend it for purchase. If you create an account with Huepar, they give you an extra year's warranty.
