We use in the camper behind the cooktop cover. A perfect fit. We did, however, purchase a tiny brass vent (intended to vent a plastic gas can) to ensure steady flow. The container is ideal for our needs.

Food safe? Check. Made from the same material as everyday milk containers but a lot thicker.Sturdy? Check. Go ahead, step on it. (You'll just pop the lid off.)Fit in Yeti Cooler Bag? Check. Two with room for a few cans/bottles and ice.Easy to handle? Check. It's 5 liters. (Think about one-and-a-half milk jugs flattened down.)Survive Off-Roading? Oh, yeah... Bungee it in and bounce on!What can't it do? Long-term water storage (greater than 6-12 months) without additional treatment as the container is translucent. But then again, I didn't buy these for that reason. I needed water storage for weekend trips and camping that my wife and kids could easily handle.

Learned to love this container. Wash thoroughly before use, it smells toxic. Added lemonade, no airhole so I had to keep taking it out the fridge to allow air in so I could get the beverage out. So, I heated a metal shishkebab stick and stuck it in the side, that would be the top when in the fridge, and made a little hole. Juice flows effortlessly but the faucet will ldrip slightly...had to put a cloth in the fridge or juice will seep out under your crisper drawers. Now I have never seen a slimmer container that can hold as much as this. I slipped it in on the top shelf next to my lazy susan---it literally takes up no space!!!!! Holds over a gallon of drink!!!!! Overall, a good purchase...gotta tweak it a little.

Nice containers, fit in the wheel wells of the car just right. Not thick plastic but probably adequate. BUT they leaked before the camping trip even began. Left them home and took something else.

I bought this for bottling red wine in because the glass bottles are too heavy and cumbersome for carting into my basement for storing. These are so handy and slim-line and I just grab one and go. Plus they're made in Canada to boot! I just love them so much I bought 5 more.

I know a lot of people complain that these don't take I'm air as they are emptied, which builds up a vacuum which won't allow water to flow. This is 100% true, however for me personally I don't have to fill the jug all the way up, so I just tilt it up when the flow slows so the water level lowers to under the spout, lower it back down and you have flow again.Nice thick sturdy plastic. I don't forsee any issues with the jug itself, but feel like the spout could be a bit better... It doesn't drip or anything, but it is a little difficult to turn so if you get to the point where there is less than a liter or so of water, you have to hold the jug down so it doesn't shift when you turn the water on/off... This is my only real gripe, but there isn't anything that can be done about it.I am using this to mix nutrient solutions for plants, so I only put in as much as I need.

This container is very sturdy, I mounted it under our kitchen sink as a storage tank for the dish detergent, with a hose connected directly to the spigot (valve open) the detergent flows nicely to the hand pump soap dispenser above and it stays primed. The narrow container holds over a gallon of liquid, so it shouldn't need to be refilled that often. I may add a 1.5" plastic plug cap to make it easier to refill it without removing the spigot each time. (that's optional) It works great! and its real simple to install for this application. Lastly... the spigot with hose connection hasn't leaked a drop!I highly recommend this container.

Ordered this as a tea dispenser in the refrigerator. It works well for dispensing. But the problem comes when it needs to be cleaned. There is not way to get it really clean. You just have to put water and dish soap in there and swish it around. The opening is too small and awkward get your hand or a brush down into.Would work perfectly for just water dispensing.Over all it works fine just not for what I need.

I was pleasantly surprised with these. I bought one with the spout and two more with simple caps. I swap the container and cap as the containers empty. The spigot works great and never leaked over a month of rough travel. Never found that not being vented was an issue. They don’t weigh much when full. Just lift up on the end to allow an air exchange or squeeze the side while finishing your pour if things get a little slow. These are super easy to store and move and fill when traveling. They’re also very very affordable compared to the more engineered flat type water carriers designed for "overlanders" and off-road enthusiasts. So happy I saved some money on water storage.
