Turn the long bolt down to remove the wheel hub or fan blades.

This is a must-have if you do hvac repair work. This is the easiest and best solution for removing stuck fan blades and blower wheels. You're in for a long day if you come across a rusted shaft on a motor. It can turn a 20 min job into a nightmare. This works great and is exactly like my other puller that I have had for years. I got this to have as a backup. All well machined and top-quality materials. If you're new to hvac service work and you don't have one of these, you need to do yourself a favor and pick this up. It's a good value for what you get.

Nothing bad to say. The main center support is turned and machined aluminum, clean, no burs. The various hooks are made of hardened hex stock, good quality.The most important thing is it worked a breeze to remove a stuck AC unit fan so I could replace the motor, reuse the fan. Looks versatile enough that it should work to pull just about any other fan of reasonable size and maybe a few other things.
