I thicknits pretty thick and seems to be made of hard sturdy material. Great for outdoor and I believe it is fire retardant. I bought it to turn on balcony light all year round so hoping it lasts for several years given how hard and durable the material seems.

Great and very well made cord a have 2 of them a 25 ft and a 50 ft . Best cords I have ever owned

This extension cord was exactly as described; it was lighter than I thought it would be which was good. I used it for outside Christmas decorations and left it outside for the duration of the holidays. It held up great. Great product for a very reasonable price. Would recommend.

The product's description says it works down to -50°C.Both cords' sheath broke at -15°C!!

I got this so I could occasionally run corded tools outside my house - drills, saws, etc. I also use it to get power from my generator into my house. I've had no issues with it whatsoever. Nice cord, nice length, nice price.UPDATE: Months later, I've been using this cord to run my Halloween lights. It has been through quite a lot of heavy rains without worry. But, I did put an empty gas can over the cable end to keep rain from falling directly on it. I'm not sure how much this helps, but either way, this cord can work in a wet and humid environment no problem.

This extension cord has a very plastic-like feel compared to my other cords, which are thicker and seem more durable. The black color is fine, but the cord’s material has a shiny finish. The length is perfect for my needs, and it’s easy to clean and store when necessary. So far, I haven’t had any issues.I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the plastic texture feels flimsy and less sturdy than my other cords. It seems like it might break more easily if tightly tangled or used repeatedly over time.
