Without cutting this open, this is well made. I bought the 15 foot, the cord end / plugs are sealed and waterproof, there are no gaps for water to get in. Cord is not too stiff like some cords, especially the shorter lengths. Good buy, would definitely recommend it for any outdoor use where it's not fully submerged.
