Very good value. Many uses around the house. I use them to unclog drains and reach items that needle nose pliers just can't reach.

I use these forceps when soldering wires . They hold the bare wire together so I can solder them . Some times I use to much solder & clamps are stuck to the wires as well. I just place the iron to them & release without the wires coming apart. There long enough so the heat from the iron doesn't get to the top of the clamps, I recommended these for holding wires together while I solder.

The metal is thin and these are definitely light duty. They are acceptable for craft use but handles are difficult to lock under pressure. The will occasionally come loose if the toll is slightly twisted. I purchased them for automotive use and they performance was questionable.

great value, nice tools. these are nicely made, no rough edges, Good finish on the tools.I use them for hobbies - fishing etc. they are big but that's what I wanted, I have 5 & 6 inch versions and these complete the set. I'm a gadget guy so I love them. I had to shop around to find these at this price for two units. I will use the straights for other tasks and the curved tip for hook removal when fishing.the locking tabs don't seem to line up but they lock up just fine. I'm picky so I noticed but it works and that's all I care about.

I bought these for my husband because I gave his away to a repairman who had never had a pair for DIY projects. They are great for grabbing things down in small places, like pulling wires through small apertures, and automotive repair. Unfortunately I bought ones bigger than my hubby wanted, so I will order some smaller ones next.The quality of these seems just great so far, and the price was low. They lock well. I don't know how they would actually perform for surgery. I hope if I need surgery that I will get to have it done in a hospital, and not have to try these on myself. But if the zombie apocalypse comes and I am injured, I would not hesitate to try these.
