They line up well and feel well made but the included mounting equipment including screws would not properly hold and broke easily. While trying to secure the screw into the anchor the screw stripped on one and broke (plastic) on the second. Both never even began to hold before they were broken and unusable.We tried using the stock thumb bolts but the mud flap was too thick to work with them.

Installation was a breeze, the fact that these mud flaps are specifically designed to fit the Model Y perfectly. They blend seamlessly with the car's aesthetics, enhancing its overall appearance rather than detracting from it. The black color blends perfectly with any color Tesla. The mudflaps come with all the needed clips and the pry tool.As of the writing of this review, the price of these mudflaps (all four places) is about $35.99, and the Telsa website advertises the flaps for about $40 just for the front two flaps. So definutely cheaper. Combined with Amazon, you may get it faster for no extra shipping cost.In terms of longevity I guess time will tell, but so far the installation appears sturdy enough and looks like it will hold.

It took about an hour from start to first to install all four mud flaps. You need to start by cleaning the areas where the mud flaps will be attached to, by using alcohol, then waiting for the alcohol to dry. Next, you need to remove the existing pegs. If you have a brand new Tesla, this might be an easy task. However, if you've had your Tesla for awhile, this may not be a walk in the park. The yellow peg removal tool provided simply isn't going to cut it. I spent 15 minutes struggling with the included tool before ditching it and using a short, flat head screwdriver. The process went much, much faster after that. Start with the front mudflaps as there is more space to work so that you get the process down. Then move to the rear, as you are in cramped quarters. You may find, as I did, that some of the screws simply will not go in. My solution? A rubber mallet. This may sound odd, but keep in mind that the goal here is to get the back of the pegs to expand so as to hold the mud flaps in place. This worked really well, though it was harder to do with the rear mud flaps due to the limited space. Was it worth it? Yes it was, as the mud flaps are flexible, look really good and appear to offer some degree of protection. I would have rated them 5 stars, but removed a star for two reasons: (1) The included peg removal tool simply didn't do the job it was intended for; and (2) Surprisingly, the manufacturer did not include any extra pegs or screws, just the exact amount needed, which was hard to believe when one considers that they probably cost less than a penny to make. Unfortunately, if you lose a plastic screw or peg during installation (easy to do while working next to a car), or if the plastic on one of the pegs bends, you are out of luck. Additional plastic pegs and screws should be included, which can be set aside for future repairs if a peg comes off during driving. In summary, installation may be aided if you have on hand: (1) Alcohol; (2) cleaning cloth; (3) a short, flat head screwdriver; (4) a rubber mallet. Plan on spending between 30 minutes to an hour. The mud flaps are visually appealing, flexible and appear to offer some degree of protection

This is one of the few car installation jobs that does not require any previous knowledge or skills in car repairing.The installation is very easy and straightforward, simply remove the old flaps, and directly install these instead - no additional fixers or new holes are required, these mud flaps use installation holes same as the original mud flaps.The design is both practical and effective. They slightly stick out of the body of the car making sure to catch all the mud, and the side of the car is kept clean.The flaps have rigid composition, wich suggests, that they are built to withstand daily use in various weather conditions. Their sturdiness gives high hopes that they will stand up well to the hardships and challenges they may encounter.Overall, these mud flaps boast a good quality, ease of installation and practicality.

It took about 10 to 15 minutes to install. Carefully pull out the 2 clips where the mud flaps mount. Install with 2 of the provided longer clips. The provided clips are of similar quality to the original ones. The flaps seem to be pretty securely mounted.Hint: There is not a lot of space to work with on the back wheels, especially if you're using the provided clip tool. A small, stubby, flathead screwdriver makes it much easier.All in all, satisfied with the end result.

The molding for these mudflaps is very good, providing excellent fit, and they're a semi-flexible material unlike the OEM mud flaps (which are only available for the front anyway).Install was easy and took about 5 minutes. Most of that time was fiddling with the plastic rivets... IYKYK.I'll update this review if anything goes wrong, but I expect these to last as long as the vehicle.

I love it when a product just works out from the installation to the finish. Overall quality feels sturdy. It comes with the tool to remove the stock pins and the installation is very straightforward. These mudflaps are a great addition to your Tesla's overall look. It gives it a nice stance... a much lower stance. Not to mention, these flaps protect your exterior paint from road debris. A must-have for Tesla owners. This is a good find.
