I have many other cutting bits but this is the first circular bit I have tried. It works well and can cut a pretty deep trough. I'll be using this more.

If you're still grinding high speed Steel for a straight up half inch radius then definitely get one of these tools. This thing is a lifesaver for so many different applications I can't believe I didn't buy one until now. You can also get these button Tools in 3/8 of an inch and also 5/8 of an inch if you are later than tool holder can support something that big. So far it's held up great

I am stocking up on all my lathe tools and came across this one and figured would give it a try.I am very happy with how well it was all packed and seems to be pretty well made.I am surprised with how many carbides it comes with. I have not used it enough to wear one down yet so time will tell if they chip or wear easily or not. All in all nice tool for the selling price.Hope this helps and thanks..

I have a combo mill/lathe with a modified turret. These produce a nice finish on aluminum and mild steel. I have been using slow speeds/feeds while turning and getting good results. Minimal chatter. Love not having to make my own cutting edges.
