I'm ashamed to admit it, but this filter had never been replaced in my vacuum since I bought it 20 or so years ago. I looked for them in Sears when I went there and they never had them in stock. So .. it didn't get done. Finally I decided to get serious about it. It took a little time to find the right filters, but find them I did. I now have a nice, clean filter in my vacuum. It was quite easy to do .. easier than I thought it would be. No more excuses! They don't even cost that much.
