This part was not exactly like the original but by adding a couple of spade terminals I was easily able to adapt it for my need. A/C is up and running like new. At 2 for under $10 it was a good buy and now I have a spare.

When your ceiling fan won't go to all the speeds it is supposed to, this is what solved my problem after researching it on YouTube. CAREFULLY install this capacitor and it can be a way simpler and cheaper fix to get your fan working again. However, make sure you get the capacitor that matches exactly the capacitance numbers on your non-working fan.

These caps did the trick. Fans are spinning like they were just installed. If you take on this type of project be advised you need to know how to strip wire and use butt crimps or wire nuts. Follow the wire colors and it should work. There are several YouTube videos which describe, in good detail, how to change these puppies out. Good Luck.

Replaced the old capacitor, and the fan turns like new again. It is so much cheaper than replacing the whole ceiling fan. For the hot days shelter at home, a gentle breeze is great thing to have. Better yet, you have a reserve part for the next unexpected failure.

My two patio ceiling fans are running nearly all day long to avoid the hot Florida warmth to accumulate in the patio and since a few weeks, I noticed that they were not running as fast as they used to even when changing the speed with the chain... After some investigation, I found that the culprit might be the capacitor so, I dismounted one fan to check the kind and ordered a set of these capacitor which match the values of the original ones except for the voltage on the lowest value and the max. temp. operation.Upon reception, I could not wait to try these capacitors so I cut the wires on the fan long enough to make sure I could use standard wire connectors, discharged the installed capacitor using a light bulb and installed the new one. I was so happy to get the high speed back on my ceiling fan that I ordered a second set for spare parts so if it happens again, I just have to swap the capacitor in no time. $7 capacitor vs $350 new fan is no match!!!

Works as it's intended. I've had a 60" 3-speed fan on the back porch that quit working a while back. I finally got around to checking it the other week and found a swollen capacitor, ordered these new caps and it works again. The only one I found identical to the old one was on eBay from China and had a 4 week estimated arrival date. I ended up getting these even though the temp rating and voltage ratings were lower than the original. Maybe it'll last longer than the other one. I'll know in a couple years.
