Just replaced old ubiquiti Wi-Fi network with these and is so much better! New Wi-Fi 6 range is almost double. Also love the easy install with smartphone app. .. was up and going in minutes.

Give them an internet connection and PoE and they're happy.Easy to set up, easy to administer, completely cloud-based -- I have 3 of these covering the house. Just *DO* bear in mind that they're directional. You won't get much of a signal BEHIND them, so be sure they're pointed where you want the signal to go (think of the broadcast as a dome and you'll be good). Though you'll connect at up to 1.2gbps, I've never gotten more than 700mbps through 'em, but that's nothing to cough at, of course.Steel and brick are obstacles for all wireless, and these are not exceptions. You can use pretty much any PoE injector, but a Netgear GS305P ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LHL1Q2Z/ ) will run four of them without issue.

Bought two for my sister network:Got two access-points, Aruba switch and connected to ISP modem, (was easy with the app)in use with Aruba Instant On 1930 24-Port Gb Ethernet 24xGE PoE (195W)works very nice.AP's are ceiling mounted for best range etc etc. They are not as flush mounted as Ubiquity AP-Pro, but who looks up anyway.Install was a easy and they are available now.One AP is in the garage, the other one on the other side of the house ( three bedroom house) and there is enough range outside the house ( +/- 70meters)

Speeds next to the AP would top out at roughly 600Mbps and get worse further away. It simply isn't powerful enough in any sense of the word.Requires you to use their Instant On cloud to do anything, which is annoying. Changes take a while to propagate.

Bought an AP 22 on the 7th, connection in 1,500 sqft home. The home is 1 floor, mounted in attic. It could not reach the master bedroom without dropping out. Master bathroom, forget about it. It’s connected at 1-0 bar at best. Andddd guess what no connectivity. For reference, currently have a Ubiquiti UAP-LR, it’s got better range and can get full connectivity.6 plus years in attic still going strong. Finally thought it was time for upgrade, since we are getting fiber in a couple of weeks.Boy was I wrong with this one..For the AP22 No matter what setting you move the 2.4 ghz to, it will not stay connected. And for the 2.4 to work, you have to have both 2.4 and 5 GHz enabled. The iPhone will not connect otherwise.Atleast the cloud portion works, so you can easily reconfigure. But after 2 days of working with this, it’s going back.Getting another Ubiquiti U6-LR for the same price with 4x4 MIMO vs this at 2x2. For only $10 more.Had high hopes for this system to work, but definitely not ready for a SMB or home.To note, the UAP-LR, from 2016 is only transmitting at up-to 17 dBM, and this AP can go up to 30 dBm.So transmitting at 30 dBm, this thing couldn’t keep an iPhone connected 45 feet away and 3 walls. (Tested: 12,PRO Max, 12 Pro and iPhone 13 PRO Max.)Glad I don’t order these for my clients…

We live in a large 2 story house with multiple wireless devices including TV's, Tablets, Phones, Laptops, IOT Stuff, and the list goes on. Most days there are 20+ devices connected to wifi. This AP handles it with no issues. It also makes setting up a guest network a breeze. I am going to get one of the switches to fully utilize Aruba management interface. I will say it has some range limitations however not much less than the prior unit from another vendor. Some people are complaining about this AP but I cant see why. I will probably get a second unit for the back of my house to get better coverage, especially in the back yard.

I replaced my existing Ubiquity Nano HD Access Points with Aruba AP22.40% improvements in data throughput and coverage.Tested and scanned ned with Ekahau- so don’t listen to all the BS reviews here.If you replace the AP’s also replace your switch and don’t create a bottle neck issue.Scan your property and place the AP in a correct location.Management was very easy for both switch1930 and AP22.Free cloud management no subscriptions fees. Optional local for the switch. I didn’t tried for AP’s yet.Cons:Have to replace the fan on the Aruba switch 1930 with “ Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM, Premium Quite fan” the original one was to loud for me. (There is an YouTube video that shows that Aruba 1930fan”
