I have a high-quality Epson ET-8500 photo printer and when paired with HP Premium Plus Photo Paper, magic happens. The reproduction quality with this combination is jaw-droppingly accurate. The paper finish has a semi-gloss to it which makes outdoor photos appear life-like. The ink absorption of the paper allows for colors to remain strong and does not desaturate like other papers I have tried. By far this is the best quality photo printing paper I have used to date. The smear resistance is about average at best as long as you allow the ink to dry. The paper thickness is just right but in terms of functionality, size, and texture - everything about this paper screams - "buy this now!"

I print my own photos to make albums, so I go through a lot of photo paper. I no longer order photos from Shutterfly because the quality of the paper the use , it cannot be compared to HP. The color of the printed photo is amazing, in my opinion it improves the quality of a poor picture. Amazon also has the best price and I won’t shop anywhere else. I highly recommend.

I printed a few photos of different sizes with my laser printer and every one printed out perfectly without any lines or smears. I would recommend this paper for laser printers.

Use this a paper to print briefly coloured pictures and family photos for frames and it good. Perfect for this price point. I’d buy again. Good weight to it and just the right amount of shine.

This photo paper is exceptional. I used it to print up art work to hang up in my newly created tiny little music room where I enjoy my desktop audio system and headphones. Best photo paper I have ever used!

Excellent quality photo paper with a notable difference: you don't have to guess which side is the print side!I've used many high quality papers in the past where the difference between the print side and the back was so subtle you had to guess and hope for the best. These papers aren't cheap, so 'wasting' one to figure out the print side is annoying. HP watermarks their logo on the back, taking the guesswork out.

My husband & I are very happy with the photos we print. We will continue using this photographic paper with the satin sheen - not too glossy and not dull. The paper is just the right thickness.

Sadly, I purchased this paper while under the impression that I could use it to print special greeting cards. I have since discovered that it is completely inappropriate for that purpose. As photo papers usually do, it has the brand (in this case HP) and a description of the paper (Premium Plus) printed lightly in grey on the back of the paper. Which would be the inside of the card, where you would place your greeting. It is also fairly awkward to fold. All that said, I was able to print a really impressive image that didn't smear, using normal HP inks, not specific photo ink. So I'll keep it to use for large photos, and continue my search for a good semi-glossy paper for printing cards.

I've been using these with my OfficeJet 8610 to print photos, and the quality is much better than I expected. It does an OK job of printing on regular paper, but using the photo paper results in prints that look like they came from a print shop, but for pennies of cost. Using HP's Instant Ink service ($3 for 50 prints per month), I can effectively print 8.5x11 photos for 6 cents each, at studio quality. An incredible bargain, fantastic quality paper that makes your printer a photo printing master.
