HP refused to fix this computer even though I did not do anything to damage it. It was still within the warranty so I sent it to them and they claimed that it was damaged so not covered and they wanted another $600! I paid over $1000 for the computer. HP has terrible customer service and will try to scam you. Beware.

I owned this product for a few months and it died. HP products are extremely unreliable and I don't recommend them.

I got this laptop in may. Looks great, fast, nice upgrade I needed. The trouble started couple weeks after: it refused face recognition set up at all. Had to turn it off. Then couple nights ago it went black. Nothing, nada, zilch… Ran few diagnostics, called HP, got recovery flash drive - can’t reinstall! Apparently I have no HDD! What the heck! For a thousand dollars computer it’s nonsense! I use HP laptops since 2006 and this is the worst.Update. Sent laptop to HP for repairs and what they found: original HDD was removed and new was installed which crashed. Originally it was for 256 Gb and 1Tb was installed. Which crashed. HP wanted to install original size of 256Gb for $500 because warranty was negated. I contacted seller, explained what happened they said they will look into it - but now they are ignoring me.

I only had this laptop for 1 month. Brand new, not refurbished. It died randomly one night and after calling HP to troubleshoot and trying for 2 hours with no success, my option was to return it. I loved the laptop otherwise but have been through such an ordeal trying to get it replaced (Amazon and HP won't just replace it, only fix under warranty or return options which is asinine to me - I dont want to be stuck with a lemon so i am trying to return it and get a new one) but even then I'm being blocked left and right trying to get a new one.

Got this laptop because I have a Mac and most of my programs are for windows. I had been using parallels on my Mac but wanted something better. This laptop is sleek, and perfect! And I love that it’s also touchscreen so its perfect for my drawing program as well!
