We exclusively use HP printers - not ONLY because they are compatible w/ Apple devices - right out of the box! Also because they are reliable and easily last 10+ years. When we were using other brands, we were hoping to get at least 4-5 yrs before they stopped working!Highly recommend - we use the duplex printing and the auto feed features, so those are important for us when choosing.

I am pleasantly surprised at the condition of this printer. Had it not been in a refurbished box I would never have known it wasn’t brand new. Install was pretty simple and appears to be working perfectly, GREAT DEAL!

The printer replaced my 12 year old HP model. Set up was very easy. Since I only use it occasionally in my home office, I wanted a model without many extras. I chose this one, a step above the basic model because I liked the LED screen. It easily connected with my laptop and phone. Different from my previous one that had four ink cartridges, this one only has two. One cartridge for black ink and the other containes the three colors. They were half the size as the ones I was used to using. Being that I do not print much, the small size could be a good thing to keep the ink fresh. I've only had this a few days and I used it to prepare for tax season. So far it is working well.

print quality is non-existent. I printed maybe 2 or 3 times with ok results. The ink cartridge would not work after that. From the time I setup this printer until I wanted to chuck it into a river was about 3 weeks. I tried cleaning the heads, removing and replacing the ink cartridges, running through all the troubleshooting steps and it just wants me to buy more ink. I'm sorry but if the ink doesn't last more than 3 prints that should be advertised.

I don't normally write reviews, but this printer is such a great deal! It is refurbished but you cannot tell it has ever been used. Excellent condition. Set up was smooth and easy, and the six months of free HP Instant Ink is enough savings to pay for the printer, plus save more! It works great and I highly recommend it to others.

Every once in a while one ends up with a lemon. I worked on trying to get this printer to "acknowledge" the ink cartridges that it came with. The printer and the ink were brand new in their wrappers. When the provided ink cartridges failed I opened two brand new HP ink cartridges I also ordered for later. Again, the printer was displaying on my screen "ink empty." Out of frustration I called my IT guru who came over and worked on this issue for another 90 mins. My guru finally pronounced it "defective." I have to return the item and have asked for another one to be sent which they were happy to do.

I found this printer difficult to set up and install. There is no disc with the printer, the minimal instructions show how to un pack it then go to hp.123.com to install. Which started working but no matter how many times I tried putting in my wireless password, the software could not 'find' the printer. My router is sitting right next to it so it wasn't a distance problem. So I happened to have a printer to usb cord (it didn't come with one) and got the printer working and printed out a document. I then disconnected the usb connection to try the wireless again. It wasn't till I figured out how to manually put my wireless password in the printers screen, swipe up, that the printer connected to my laptop wirelessly.
