Howard C. Miller founded the company back in 1926, at the age of 21, and is based out of Zeeland, Michigan. Product is a beautiful piece of furniture. Perfect for my liquor and wine storage needs. Big issue with delivery. The company delivery insisted on a porch drop off. No way I would be able to bring in a 500 pound piece into my house. After several hours Amazon resolved issue. Very difficult to remove packing.

The Cabinet is absolutely beautiful inside and out! I was able to put one 1.75-liter bottle (Grey Goose) in the door but none of rest of my 1.75’s would fit; however, they do look ok on the shelf next to my Margaritaville mixer which fits nicely under the wine glasses – even very tall ones. This cabinet is really heavy and seems well built. The top door cubbies are perfect for shorter tumblers. The drawers open and close smoothly with a nice click to lock closed. I got a good laugh at the expense of the delivery guy who upon removing the protective plastic thought that it had been damaged when he saw the distressed marks! I had to explain that it was intentional. The light comes on automatically with opening the left door and gives the inside a nice soft glow. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase and hope to have many years of enjoyment.

(We bought this from Howard Miller Direct via Amazon.)We did a lot of research as we looked for a liquor cabinet. We'd seen this on Amazon, but weren't sure about the price, ordering it sight unseen, and were worried about the complaints about delivery. No need to worry, it met our every expectation.We looked at modular stuff from Pier 1, flat-pack from Ikea or Lowe's, and wandered the floor of many furniture stores without finding anything even close to our preference. This piece beat every other option, hands down.This is a solid, beautiful piece of furniture. It's sturdy, solid, reassuringly heavy. The latches are confident without being harsh, and the doors swing smoothly without being loose.It has plenty of space for most liquor stores, although admittedly we have little room for additional bottles. Every door shelf can easily hold 4 typical 750ml bottles, and in many cases can hold 5. The lower main shelf is tall enough to hold standard liquor bottles, however many wine bottles and taller liquor bottles won't fit. If you have oversized liquor bottles, such as 1.75s, the only location that will hold them is the main shelf.The wine rack section will hold most standard and some oversized bottles. Large bottles, such as champagne bottles, won't fit here; you'll have to put those on the main shelf as well.There is ample glassware and stemware space. We have liquor glasses, red and white wine glasses, cordial glasses, and beer mugs stored in this unit.The light in the cabinet is perfect even when opening it in a dark room. Plenty of light to allow you to pour your favorite dram or prepare your favorite drink.If we had to complain, there's two things we'd mention:- There's a limited number of wine bottle spaces, not enough for our purposes. That said, we have a solid supply of liquor, so we'd not trade any of the other space for more wine storage. We set up backup storage to handle the overflow.- The door handles bang against the front panel when you let go of them. No denting or damage yet, but it's loud and makes you cringe when it strikes.The "White Glove" delivery offered by Howard Miller is handled in our area by CEVA Logistics. Sadly, we had to request Howard Miller get involved after the delivery time came and went, the rescheduled time came and went, then CEVA stopped responding to us. Howard Miller handled everything very courteously and professionally, and 2 days after they got involved the piece was delivered in perfect condition. No marks or scratches, no broken glass or bulbs, just perfect. Excellent service, thank you!

The cabinet was delivered. howard miller had to call the delivery company. The cabinet is beautiful, we love it. The delivery company clearly does not need my business. Howard Miller apologized for the late delivery and called the company themselves they stated that they don't have much control because only three companies in the nation deliver across the country. The doors at first are hard to open and I have a scratch on the right door as the handle was not properly tightened and turned against the wood.

Cabinet is great.. Have it dropped at your front door. White glove service is a farce. Two sweaty dirty men will show up well prepared to damage your floors and wall. They will not have a vacuum or any rags to clean up the mess, they won't wipe their boots off.. I love my cabinet, but now I must look at the gouge the delivery team made trying to drop this unit in place in under 2 minutes. My unit was delivered upside down, and i was amazed that the cabinet had no damage as the packaging was destroyed.

Cabinet took just over 2 weeks to be delivered due to July 4th holiday. It is everything I hoped for, well made,HEAVY, and holds a large amount of Liquor and wine. Howard Miller Direct contacted me by email twice to explain the delay and to inform me when it actually shipped.When delivered two men brought it in, removed all shipping material, set it in place, and took all packing material (it was boxed extremely well). It is a quality cabinet that anyone should be proud to have in their home. The size and weight means it has to be shipped by truck freight so can't be Amazon Prime. The shelves can hold a lot. I have a Margaritaville frozen drink mixer on the top shelf which is 14" deep as is the lower shelf. The bottom shelf's height is just a bit too small to take quart sized or larger bottles. Most normal sized wine bottles fit the rack easily but champagne bottles are often too large in diameter.The slots for glasses each hold 4 stem type glasses per slot. I'm so glad I made this purchase!

This cabinet was exactly what I expected. It was the right size and color and had exactly the space I needed. The only problem was that they put the light bulb in the socket when they shipped it, and the bulb was broken when it arrived. Luckily we saw it immediately and no one got cut and the back mirrored glass was not damaged. We are really enjoying the cabinet and have received lots of compliments on it.
