Good hourmeterWorks wellThe only thing that you need to chek is to use the secure line because the 3m stickers was too week and its fell from the point I glued ii on the frame (luck me its fell to the fillter air box🙃)But good and works well snd have the soa messge

It’s not accurate. Save your 30 bucks plus tax and just buy the cheap no brand name hour meters and wrap the spark plug. I’ve messed with the settings on this 10 times. It’s just not accurate. Looks cool. Not accurate

I've used lots of these meters for pwc engines. This one was hard to read when you did check the hours and It didn't stay attached. If you look at the pics, you can see the glue is still attached to the cylinder, so the failure was on the meter side (you can see I cleaned and stuck it well to the engine. Somewhere around 7 hours it came off and I can't find it anywhere in the hull so it's probably flushed out :(

I picked this up because I really like the idea of being able to setup reminders for things like oil changes etc. The bike already has an hour meter, but if you don’t write things down, or lose that piece of paper you keep your notes on, it’s really easy to forget or lose track of when you need to change the oil. This unit solves that. I have a few bikes so having this do the dirty work for me is a HUGE help. Setup was really quick and easy, the display is easy to read. The phone app was also really easy to setup and synch. While I do like the idea of SOS in case of a get off, the reality is for dirt bikes, especially in Montana, we almost NEVER have cell service which is what this relies on. Using the SOS function is a nice addition when riding close to town and connects easily so I don’t have to bring along a satellite SOS device and the Athena device does not require a subscription you just need your phone on you and a signal. If I had to rely on this unit riding in the back country of Montana for help I’d probably be eaten by a bear before anyone would know I crashed or be able to find me down a mountain side. It’s a nice feature for some folks in town etc. Mounting it was easy once you find a good location to be able to use the included adhesive strips, like most wireless hour meters if your bike doesn’t have a flat surface away from harm you may have a challenge. Battery life will be interesting as the only way to change the battery is to peel off the adhesive, replace the battery but they did include a 2nd adhesive strip in the box to re-attach and unlike other wireless hour meters this one allows you to replace the battery so that is a huge plus. For an hour meter and aid to track maintenance this is a very cool hour meter
