Fill the first water tank with water, drop the car in, and swirl it around for the initial reveal: a cool Hot Wheels vehicle with a totally sweet deco! Run the car through the set -- that includes a loop -- letting excess water drain off while admiring the car's awesome details. Before the final wash, fill the octopus's head with cold water and spray the car through the tentacles to reveal another entirely different deco! Use warm water to change it back. Run the car through the car wash and repeat over and over again to see it switch between the last two color changes! Kids will love the action and transformation. Was on Grandson’s wish list for Christmas was not at all disappointed! Loved the gift and even asked for more track for all his Hot Wheels cars!Big hit!

Kids loved it , but be prepared to clean up the water. I made sure it was played with on the kitchen tile floor.Worth the mess.

It's a lot of fun! It's pretty cool that it folds in half for easier storage, and it's really long for play. That's cool in itself because you can play at the edge of a room instead of filling the main area of the room. That makes it easier to leave it out if you're taking a break from play. But it's still a big set! I like the warm and cool reservoir. It's easy to refill. You gett some water splash, but it doesn't make puddles. I like that everything including the loop is hand powered. There's no need for batteries. (They wouldn't put batteries in a water toy!) I also think it's just fun to play as long as you have color change cars. I suggest you get at least one more two pack of the color change cars. With one more two more two packs, it's a lot more fun to have multiple color change cars! I do have to have some hot and cool water ready, but that just takes a minute or two.I see someone else saying it's really hard to take apart. I really don't think you're supposed to take it apart. i think it folds up for easier storage, and then we put it on a toy shelf. That's great because you don't have pieces to lose, and because you don't have to help your kid get it together.It also does connect to other hotwheels sets, but we didn't try that. It really is big enough to not need other sets, but it's cool that you can build from here.It's a really nice big set. The water makes it fun, but it isn't too messy. It's big, it's fun. It just needs a couple more cars which are easy to get. I like it a lot! My Son and I highly recommend this set!

Amazing. My 3 year old car-loving boy and my 7 and 11 year old girls (who are indifferent to cars) all love this toy.You can pair it with color changing cars for extra fun (but you will need ice cubes in the octowasher to get the water cold enough to change the colors back).A spectacular 3rd birthday present. I almost never review things but this was worth my time. Just get it... you will not be disappointed as long as you have the space for it. It has trays to catch the water but you still want to set it up on a surface that can handle a little moisture.

Very cool. I have one daughter who loves hot wheels and watching the cars race around and smash into each other. And the other daughter who's less into cars and more into princesses. So, I got this to go along with the race sets. She looooves cleaning the cars and sending them through the car wash while the other kid smashes them up. It's very interactive with a lot of little gadgets on it so even if your kid isn't into race tracks this would be a cool toy as part of building a little town or whatever.It was easy to assemble. And even though it's a water toy I haven't had more than a couple drops end up outside of the play set. There are drip trays on all the parts that hold water to catch anything that spills. Not nearly as messy as you might expect. A little pricey though honestly. But a very cool toy. Kids love it.

The entire family was impressed by this toy! My 6 (almost 7) year old built the whole thing on his own and couldn’t believe how much bigger it was than he expected! The car reveal was awesome as it goes through the wash and it’s very well designed to launch the car around and squirt water etc. We love all the hook ups for other tracks to go through and around the track. Kids (4 year old girl included) played with this for literally hours on day one because it’s so cool! Minimal fighting over the shower octopus part. 😂 Very impressed, so glad we bought this! More fun than we even expected!

When we bought this, we did not realize that the car had paint that comes off in the water. Maybe I should have read more. Needless to say, the son we very upset when he saw his car had chipped paint every before playing with it. He had tons of fun once we realized the paint comes off on purpose. Very fun. Well done Hot Wheels
