Sadly for me I'm not using my hottub yet but I put my railing next to it to see the size and strength of it. It's really nice and I recommend.

I have tried to use the two screws provided, but they do not fit in the hole. The screws are too large. The pictures given with the instructions do not show where you are supposed to use the 4 washers. I would like some guidance as to how to construct this. The directions are horrible! I ordered 2 and may be returning both. The company did send me new screws which still do not fit in the second railing. I figure the holes drilled in the base weren’t drilled properly. I am using one and made the other into an umbrella stand because returning it would be too hard for me. The packaging weighs too much.I purchased the stands in May, and in July I received a message from the manufacturer giving me a full refund. I am happy with the customer service, even though it took them a few months to issue the refund. I have changed my rating from1 to 3 stars because of this. The one stand which I assembled is working well.

Works well...sturdy. just take time to treat with some kind of rust prevention. Bought this one year ago. It's in a covered, enclosed patio but significant rust has begun. I'll probably sand and refinish with a proper outdoor finish.

I'm waiting for my spa to be delivered, so I have not been able to use it yet. However it was easy to put together and seems to be sturdy. I did have trouble getting the rubber hand grip on, so I decided to try baby powder on the inside of the grip and it slid right on. Yay....(One would think they would ship it already on the handle.)

Apparently they chose to use bolts not designed for outdoors, as they began to rust just after a few weeks. Item itself is sturdy and well built. Don't know why they couldn't throw in some stainless steel bolts and just charge $5 more?! Rubber handle covers were extremely difficult to to put on. Almost gave up. Put dish soap on bar to help slide them on.
