I am using this to help control the BPS of my CO2 going into my planter aquarium as well as to eliminate surges from occuring when the CO2 gets turned on.It does the job but it doesn’t offer level of control I was hoping for. I am aiming for 2 BPS (bubbles per second) and the threading just isn’t fine enough to make this adjustment easy. It’s as if 1/32 of a turn can mean the difference of getting 1 BPS or 8 BPS. It’s very finicky getting it to just the right setting and seems very easy to throw the adjustment off by a slight bump.It feels well built and I may be using for purposes it was never intended to perform as, hence 3 stars instead of a lower rating, especially since it works very well once you can manage to dial it in.

Poor quality control. Didn’t use right away, flawed casting whole in side not all the way through but still for the money. Could have bought locally for same price. Should have looked around. Check it over before it’s to late.

Built super well and works like a charm so you can precisely control flame on your smoker... which is what I bought it for. My Masterbuilt Smoker has a burner that would melt steel and the stock valve wouldn't let me drop the temperature to the 120-130F range I wanted for smoking fish. This smooth, quality valve made that simple and it has a large enough volume capacity to let me crank the smoker up to 400F.

AIR TIGHT UP TO 150 PSI AND PROBABLY BEYOND! Operates smoothly and silently - exactly as it should! Amazing stuff for $7!!!! Be sure to loosen the valve all the way and tighten down the nut at the top before operation, however.

Valve works ok, but after a couple uses the valve is leaking slightly around the valve stem. Tightening the valve stem nut can help, but it starts to chew up the internal o-ring if you do it to much. Probably can fix the leak by replacing the o-ring with a new one.

I used this for my aluminum foundry burner. Previously, I used a ball valve lever and that worked OK but didn't provide fine enough control of the propane flow. This works beautifully for that application. The part is made of brass and the build quality is excellent. The part arrived in less than a business week from the time of ordering to arriving at my door. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if/when another valve is needed.

very well made replacement valve, especially for the price. Needle valves can be particularly hard to find especially in a thread size such as quarter inch. Definitely not something you'll find at Home Depot.Machining quality is fantastic and these valves will last a long time.
