This is your standard USB 2.0 cable with a length of 15ft. I needed the extra length because everything I own if far away from my computer! Now, with this cable, I can use my printer that Is across the room when needed. I can also use the same cable to plug into some VDRUMS and even a midi keyboard controller! All work with this cable and experience zero latency. If you need a cable like this, this cable would work just fine.

I needed this cable to connect my old non wireless printer to my PC. The problem was that my printer was only able to be put far away from the PC. This cable was just long enough to reach! The maximum length that is guaranteed to work for USB 2.0 cables is 16 feet so I was worried about this cable having issues with dropping connection. I have had zero issues with this cable so far, every time I have hit print the printer starts printing! The cable is well made, with a nice braided cord that is flexible and durable. If you need a long USB A to B cable, you can’t go wrong with this one!

Not much to say about this.It does basically what you expect it to do... let you connect your USB printing devices to your computer from up to 15 feet away. In that capacity, it works really well. I've already used it on a Zebra LP2844 label printer and an HP 9000 series multi-purpose home inkjet printer. Worked fine on each one of them. That is, until I rearranged my office with a new desk. So now, I found a novel NEW use for the cable. My desk has a pass-through USB convenience port among a collection of pass-through electrical sockets. In order for the pass-through USB connection to work, it needs to be connected to a PC through the use of a USB printer cable. So that's how I'm using this now. I run the cable from my computer to the underside of the pass-through panel, and plug its USB-B connection to the underside of the panel, which passes through the USB connection to the top side of the desk. Very convenient for me.Here are some of the things this cable is NEVER gonna do:...give you up....let you down....desert you.

This is a high quality, very long cord! It's nice and thick, with a nice, smooth braided cover. It feels very heavy duty and like it will last forever!I bought a used vinyl cutter (Silhouette Brand) but the seller forgot to give me the cable to connect it to my PC. We used the cutter for a while by transferring files with a USB drive, but that was a pain, so I ordered this printer cable.Oh my goodness, what a difference! My PC immediately recognized my vinyl cutter, which then cued it to sign me up for the Silhouette Library with free graphics for me to use. And it means that I can now set the vinyl type, or cardstock, or whatever else I'm cutting. It worked GREAT. I can never go back and I highly recommend using a cable if you have a vinyl cutter!I'm still not quite sure about my setup, meaning where I'm going to leave my huge vinyl cutter, or how close it will be to my PC, so I'm very glad that this cord is so long. It will give me MANY options for I can use my device!

USB type B annoys me because its kinda rare and because USB C exists and is way better. I don't blame the cable maker, it's the equipment makers who think it's just dandy to chunk a USB type B socket onto that new digital piano. This cable works. No problem. Just like it should. It does what I want. So why only four stars? It’s because the cable sheath is thinner than I like and is braided. That’s a big step down in quality from cables with fat PVC sheaths that I’ll mention in my will. This cable has years in it, maybe more than a decade if it isn’t abused. Maybe I’m just being cranky. USB C might be ancient and annoying by the time this thing is done.

What do you say about a printer cable? It needs to be the right length, have good quality connectors, and be durable enough to last. This USB A to USB B cable checks all those boxes! It has the nice braided covering I prefer for longevity. The gold-plated connectors should last years and years with no corrosion (the gold plating also helps maintain a good connection), and it is very hard to tangle, which I also appreciate. This cable is available in three lengths up to 15 feet (I got the longest one in case I ever need the extra length), and it works perfectly. If you have a printer or scanner that needs the special USB B cable, this one is an excellent choice.

This is a nicely made braided USB cable. I find these perfect for connecting the older APC UPS's to computers for telemetry data. Gold plated connections and rugged braiding make this 15 foot cable ideal for a myriad of applications. Most pleased!

Having been in need of a longer USB B cable to connect a MIDI switcher to my audio interface, I decided to give the 15 foot one a shot. It does the job just fine, and works great. I especially like the look and feel of it- it has durable and heavy duty shielding that give me peace of mind when playing music at home or on stage. I am usually pretty picky about what I run, but with this cable I cannot find anything to complain about at all!
