I looked for a pole saw for 2 months to trim my tall palm trees in South FL. I just couldn’t pull the trigger for $80 everywhere I looked . This one was half that price . It’s light and easy to lift but sturdy enough to get the job done. I love it.

I have never trimmed a tree with a pole saw before. Just pruned low hanging branches. But two trees were covering our driveway with mushy seeds ? or something and I got tired of them dropping on our cars. So, I read many reviews on pole saws and considered price and length ... Wow! I hit a home run. This 14' pole saw was amazing. I literally hacked off more branches than necessary from those two trees as I was actually having fun doing the work. The pole, although quite long, was easy to handle, and the saw was very sharp. The saw was somewhat flexible, but I assume that was intended. It didn't bother my using it at all. I was very aggressive. In about two hours, both trees got a haircut and the branches were cut up and hauled away. Buy this one. You won't be disappointed.

I am a single mom and decided to not spend 100$ on cutting palms tree branches. This was easy to assemble and light weight to use on a latter by myself and for the green branches it worked phenomenal. For the dry ones it took me longer but got the job done! Love it and you can take it apart to be small enough to put back in the box. Save some a ton of money

In my recent tree trimming efforts around the yard, the HOSKO 10FT Pole Saw has proven to be an indispensable tool. What stands out most about this pole saw is its reach and ease of use. The 10-foot extension allows me to reach high branches without needing a ladder, making it safer and more convenient for pruning tall trees in the garden. The blade is sharp and durable, effortlessly cutting through branches up to a few inches thick with minimal effort on my part.I appreciate the lightweight design of the pole saw, which reduces fatigue during extended use. The handle is comfortable to grip, providing good control and maneuverability while working overhead. It's evident that the design considers user comfort and practicality, which is crucial for DIYers like myself tackling various outdoor projects. One minor drawback I noticed is that the saw blade could get stuck occasionally when cutting thicker branches. This required some adjustments in technique to avoid jams, especially when dealing with hardwoods. However, with a bit of practice, I was able to manage this issue effectively.Overall, the HOSKO 10FT Pole Saw is a game-changer for anyone maintaining trees and shrubs on their property. Its long reach, sharp blade, and ergonomic design make tree trimming safer and more efficient, providing excellent value for both casual gardeners and avid DIY enthusiasts.

This bad boy has teeth facing both directions so that it cuts while you’re pushing AND pulling, making easy work of any tree trimming. I’ve cut through a large portion (about 10 inches across) of my Ted when I was too lazy to get my electric saw and it was actually quite easy with this tool. The pole is very sturdy and the parts are easy to assemble and you can buy another one and add the pieces for more reach. In addition to the saw, it has a large hook shape at the end that can grab a branch that didn’t fall or some fruit that may be up there. Comes with a plastic sleeve to cover the blade and the handle has a big comfortable rubber grip. I like it so much I take the blade portion only in hand and use it for other sawing on my small lemon tree that doesn’t even require a long reach. Doesn’t take much effort to cut; you could get away with simply moving it across a branch and requires little pressure to get the job done. The only drawback is that if you change the angle of attack you could bend the blade and the multi-directional teeth could get stuck in the branch. You have to remember to choose an angle that you can stick with so as to avoid bending the blade or getting the teeth stuck.

Great product, I have used it on big trees and Washingtonian Palm Trees. It did the job expected but make sure you know how to handle it at 10 ft long as it gets harder to handle specially with Washingtonians

I have been staring at dead branches up in my cottonwood trees for years and finally decided to do something about it. Every year I have removed as many dead branches as I could reach using my 6-foot step ladder and a hand saw, but I have not been able to reach anything above 10 or 11 feet. This saw has solved that problem. Rather than spend a hundred dollars (or much more) on a gas or electric chain saw attached to a long pole that I would use infrequently, I found this saw on Amazon for about thirty bucks. It's not mechanized so it does require some effort on the part of the user, but not too much effort. For example, I used it for close to an hour and didn't even break a sweat. It saws easily and makes a nice clean cut. I cut dozens of branches and small limbs up to 6" in diameter that were between 10 and 21 feet above ground - the highest ones requiring the use of my step ladder. The hook at the end of the saw is extremely useful for breaking off brittle branches (no sawing required) and for dislodging cut branches that get hung up in the tree. The saw and its 10-foot pole is very lightweight and quite maneuverable -- I had no absolutely no trouble controlling it, even while standing on the 5th rung of my 6-foot step ladder. Assembly was simple. I had it all together is less than 5 minutes and the blade is not wobbly at all, despite what some reviewers reported. I have to believe that the reviewers who complained about a wobbly blade or the pole coming apart during use didn't put it together correctly. This is the first pole saw I have owned, and I must say that I am very impressed with this one. I cut enough dead wood out of my cottonwood trees in less than an hour to completely fill my full-size pickup truck, and then some. Had I hired a professional tree trimmer, I'm sure I would have been presented with a bill for several hundred dollars. For $30 and an hour of my time, I did the job instead. I think this is good pole saw for the average homeowner, especially considering its low cost compared to other pole saws.
