OK, you'll not be drilling thru sheet metal, but that's not the intention!I'll be using these primarily to pop holes for nest pots while growing hydroponics (Kratky method). That means plastic bucket lids, etc - and you can't beat the price for this set!Recommended

I am astonished with how poor quality these "holesaws" are... First try using the 152mm in my DeWalt drill and it just barely scraped the paint off the gyprock wall; also the teeth are already bent. Not game to try the rest.

the hole saws work as intended and the stiffening part is necessary and works well for the larger hole saws but the case is absolute junk, the "clasp" to close the case broke on 2nd use. riduculous that they used junk plastic for an otherwise decent (affordable) set of hole saws. *buy some duck tape if you buy this set

I got this with FULL expectations to use it to make one or two holes because I knew it wouldn't last anymore and I was spot on. I gave it 5 stars because of how cheap it was and It had two sizes which I needed and I still have a few more sizes left over which I could use to create some holes down the road.I used the 5 inch to make one hole out of 1/2" particle board and it was noticeably warn down after the first hole. I believe it could've made one or two more holes in 1/2" board.I used the 6 inch to make one hole out of 1/2" dry wall and then 3/4" particle board. It struggled horribly for the 3/4". I believe friction took out more wood then the saw, But never the less it got through it! It was extremely worn down, I believe I could still use it for more holes in Drywall but no way in wood!I had very low expectations and it worked! I am not disappointed in this purchase!

This is a piece of sh!t !!!!!!!!!!Do not waste your money !!!!!!!!I was going to drill 6 holes into wood boards and used the 6 inch hole saw. I knew I can not drill all the way through because the hole saw is to shallow so I have to do one side and then come from the other side. This is WOOD and not even hard wood. I used my lowest speed on my drill and this junk started to open itself up over and over so at some point I had to go and use serious tools to tighten the arbor hardcore but after my first hole was done ... In the midst of the 2nd hole I noticed that the teeth have become dull and NO I DIDN'T RUN MY DRILL IN REVERSE like some morons do. This set is good for cutting Butter, water, and pudding. If you want to cut into other materials then buy a real hole saw.
