My smart fortwo, like some newer cars, has very thin wiring. These clamps only work for standard size wires. I had to send these back and go with the regular diodes that use spade terminals.

These make wiring in the connections on your toad very easy.I installed them at the same time that I installed a 4 pin plug for pulling the tow dolly behind the car. The 4 pin converter came with intercept cables and I put these in the intercept cables, so that if removed, the wiring of the car is completely unaffected..Super easy to install, cut the wire, push the wire into the v blocks with a pair of needle nose pliers, add the wiring from the connection at the front of the car and snap shut.

I am using these for the tail lights on my dingy vehicle behind the motorhome. I was between these and the small diodes with the 3 spade connectors on each. In hind sight i wish i would have gone with the other ones. While these seem to work well i am not confident on the long term usage. With the smaller 20g wire on the vehicle it was good. The standard 16ga 4 wire bonded towing wire was a little big for the connectors and didn't securely lock into the plastic grove. with the larger wire it was also difficult to properly get it punched down on the terminal. One thing that i was happy to see was that there was enough space to punch 2 wires down on to the same terminal.If I had to do it over, i would use the other diodes as i prefer the spade connections. However, these do work well for a simple quick solution.

These work great for general use but are not waterproof so make sure they won't get wet

Exactly what I needed for doing a wireless remote on my dump trailer. I needed a blocking diode to prevent back feed into the solenoids. One was all I needed but now I have extras for other wiring projects.

Perfect product! I wanted to add lights to my truck with 2 power sources but I didnt want to use a relay that would be exposed under the truck. Yes they make water proof one but the connecter is still exposed. This was the perfect alternative and I have to say it works perfectly
