This set has just about every little notion that a beginner sewist might need and more. And it cost Pennie’s. Each item I’ve used at least once and I’m happy with all of them.

Cute little pouch of sewing stuff! It’s good for on the go!

Should not thave bought them. Ruined my quilt. They do not have instructions. Have to guess what they are. They leak on your hands and don't wash off.

These fabric markers were really convenient. I was making my first quilt and to be able to write things down on the fabric to not forget a measurement or to mark (happened a lot) the fabric to know where to cut or stich or anything i needed to do was very handy. Sometimes I put in the washer and everything washed away or gave a scrub on just the material and the marker came off. I only did the scrub off just to see if it would work but mostly i was washing the material anyway so I had no issues. These were convenient and easy to use.

These marking pens came in a pouch with a tape measure, a small ruler and a small cloth. I tried the heat erasable marking pens and the marks all disappeared with one or two passes of the iron. When I tried the water soluble markers they did not erase as easily. I don't know if I made the marks too dark or if the water wasn't warm or cold enough, but not all the marks erased.

Set comes with a 6 inch wooden ruler, a small cloth (for rubbing water onto fabric?), a flexible tape measure, a pouch for fabric markers with four water-soluble markers and four inserts that appear to be refills (which I believe are the heat-erasable markers). When testing the markers, not all of the water-soluble markers really had ink that disappeared with water. I tested each of them(yellow, green, blue, and white) on some light yellow fabric. The white and the blue disappeared, but the yellow and the green remained quite visible, even after multiple attempts to scrub them out. The heat erasable markers all disappeared with heat (which is fine with me, since I quilt a lot and will press almost everything I need to mark, so I can rely on the red, blue, black, and white heat eraseable markers instead).Regardless, most of the kit is useful and nice but important caveat for two of the intended markers!
