The very strong backpack vacuum canister is unusable with this filter. The airflow restriction just doesn't allow the vacuum to pickup nearly anything. I won't buy this again.

Purchased as a replacement for the unavailable fabric filter bag on my Hoover Shoulder Vac Pro (backpack). They are a joke. They absolutely do not seal with the lid snapped closed and almost instantly become clogged with material severely diminishing the effectiveness of what was a very powerful backpack cleaner. I would absolutely never purchase a Hoover again due to this glaring in inexplicable omission in parts availability from the manufacturer. Buyer beware.

I purchased this product the last time I ordered, prior to that I had purchased the ROYAL bags sold here and they were fine.I'll begin with the good features 1. they are brown 2. they fit pretty much the same as the ROYAL paper bags, not a real good fit but they work. Hopefully this is not a trend with their brand named stuff, and that the ROYAL bags are the same quality as the last time I ordered them.Now for the bad 1. without fail, every single one of these bags, when used singly, blew out a seam after a minimal amount of use, perhaps four, one hour sessions. That contaminates the entire inside of the cleaner and necessitates changing the inner HEPA filter. The last two or three bags were doubled up with the cloth filter behind them to prevent blowout.

Using these bags are very convenient and simple. Even though the bags are not custom fit, they will still work just fine. It is very nice to just throw the bag away when it is full instead of dumping the cloth bag and getting dirt on the floor. To clean the cloth bag adequately, there's work involved. These bags save a lot of time.

The bag is designed to fit a range of models. As a result it provides not a custom fit but an approximate fit to the canister. It is poorly designed, made of flimsy paper and us an inferior product. It is not a viable alternative to the cloth bag that comes with the vacuum.
