This hoof pick iswonderful. Strong. Does not bend. Gives good leverage to get buildup out. Comfortable in your palm. The ONLY thing I would do to improve it is put a hole in the end so I could hang it

This is a rather unique hoof pick it looks neat too could almost just be a decoration or prop too. I was sceptical how it would feel but it seems to be a decent size and shape that it makes a good grip too. The tip seems to be the typical size and shape for a hoof pick so should work fine.

This is an outstanding heavy duty pick.. I love it. Fits my hand perfect. If it was a hair shorter it would fit in my saddle pick holder. Plan to get another to carry in the trailer.

Even though I find the casting to be a poor quality. There are bumps and chunks of metal that shouldn't be there. I purchased two of them. One of them I actually have been using and I personally like the weight and feel a bit. I had to slightly modify the band which wasn't easy. Not to mention also filing the edge of the tip a little bit. It had 90° sharp edges on the end of it. The second one however has way too narrow or thine of a tip to be benched let alone filed. The second one does however have a better casting job. So the second one looks a little better but the thinness of the cleaning edge makes it pretty much impossible to modify to be used for anything other than a decoration. I gave the second one to a friend of mine who gave it to one of her students as a little bonus gift. The students just going to use it as a decoration so no big deal. The price should be cheaper however considering the varying qualities along with. I guess it depends what you're looking for in regards to whether or not it's worth buying.

This hoof pick is really effective. I love the weight distribution, it makes cleaning hoofs easier. It just feels good in your hand. I plan to buy these for my horse friends for Christas. If will be fun to buy a gift that is functional and also pretty.

An equestrian once told me that you can never have too many hoof picks, an essential item for horse care. These picls seem to grow legs and disappear. So, when I saw this one with its unique handle design, I just had to give it a go. It was definitely a good decision.First of all, this hoof pick is nice and heavy. It has a good balance and is easy to hold and use because of its length and shape. It’s going to last and be useful a good long while. But, another good thing is the design. The handle is in the shape of a horse’s head. It’s very unique and it will always be easy to identify. If there is such a thing as a classy hoof pick, then this is it.Given all these features and the reasonable price, this hoof pick is a great deal and it will be a nice addition to any tack box. I think it might be a great stocking stuffer as well. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Overall I really like this hoof pick, it works well, doesn’t bend like some of the cheap ones that are made with a plastic handle and metal pick, and it’s a nice shape and size. My husband complains about some hoof picks having a handle that’s too short and it cramps his hand. This one is a good length for both of us to use comfortably.I knocked one star off only because it makes my hands smell very metallic. It’s not pleasant to me and I’m hoping it wears off as it gets exposed to the elements. It wouldn’t deter me from buying this but be forewarned.
