Easy to install , and fit like magic. This actually saves me from using string or trying to struggle to pull the wire to open the hood

This worked great as a replacement on my 05 Honda Civic which are super notorious for breaking apart. Installation was super user friendly and time could do it. It’s held up for a few months now! Also super affordable part! It looks great and the graphic was nice. Super sturdy and not going anywhere

Didn't see any reviews stating it could work for a 2013 Honda Accord nor does the seller say it is compatible with Accords but this one seemed to work fine for me. It also is made of metal so it feels much more durable than the original plastic handle that broke off.

Good product and way better than replacing the cable

2004 Honda ElementIt’s been awhile since I’ve left a product review, but I could let it pass on this one.I broke the handle off of my hood release a couple months ago. I had since been ableto open it with decent finger grip strength ;) However, with my son driving the car more, I knew it was time to fix it. That being said, I came across this product (and others like it), by accident. As you may have seen, replacing the entire cable isn’t exactly difficult, but it is definitely a bit involved. I had this handle on and done in less than 10 mins from start to finish.1. Removed the interior kick panel that surround the hood release handle. As far as I remember, it just pulls off, being held in place by clips.2. Used a Dremel with a cutoff wheel to remove the remainder of the broken plastic handle from the steel rod.3. Installed this new, aluminum handle, using a bit of thread lock on the Allen screws (you don’t have to use thread lock).4. Reinstalled the kick panel. Getting it on correctly and lined up under the bottom door sill cover took most of my time.Done! One more tip that seems to make a big difference for me was simply applying lubricating oil to the moving parts of the latch itself. With the new handle it now opens better than when new.Genius product that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again a recommend!

Nicely made product and easy to install if you have some mechanical experience. You need to remove the piece of interior trim surrounding the hood release. It snaps off, but is a bit tricky... then you cut back what is left of the original molded plastic handle. I did this using s Sonicrafter tool. The guy in the video I watched used a tubing cutter. Additionally, I carefully used an angle grinder to create a small flat surface (D profile) on the rod itself. This step is not totally necessary, but I felt it would allow the set screws to grip better. My only complaint is that the supplied Allen wrench slipped inside the set screw head when tightening down. I have a set of metric hex keys, and the one from my tool box fit much better. I can open the hood again without using a pair of pliers, and the appearance is the same as the original!
