Everything about the bench itself - comfort, adjustability, functionality - is fine. I would recommend this piano bench were it not for the cheap pads on the feet. One of them came off when I was sliding the bench backwards to step away from the piano. Unfortunately, there was a tiny bit of a nail sticking out from the bottom of one of the feet, and it gouged my pristine wood floor, which was very upsetting. I removed the nail from the bottom of the foot and reinstalled the plastic foot pad, only for it to come off repeatedly, and it left streaks of glue or whatever adhesive is used to keep the foot pads in place. Then, the other feet started coming off, again, leaving glue on my floor which was very difficult to clean. I finally installed different foot pads that do not come off.If you do buy this bench, check that there are no nails sticking out of the feel, and I would strongly recommend removing the existing foot pads and replacing them with chair leg floor protectors that will not slide off. I would not buy this bench again because of the damage to my floor.

After 27 of not playing I finally bought an electric piano. I knew I needed a duet bench with a fair amount of storage. This bench did not disappoint.The main reason I bought this particular bench is because, the severity of my osteoporosis, I’ve got 8 fractures in my spine.I found the pain in my neck intolerable to play beyond 20 mins on the bench that came with my piano.This bench can’t cure my spine, however, I now can play til my fingers don’t work without the addded intense pain ‼️‼️‼️‼️The reason is by adjusting the height on this bench puts me at the perfect level to use the foot pedals and to look directly at my music without have to awkwardly turn my neck.It came way ahead of schedule, and I was able to put it together myself‼️( although I did have my son tighten the hardware) I’ve had this almost 2 months and absolutely NO PROBLEMS. No wobbles, no struggles to get to my music, the height I set it at stays.Personally I’d like to see this bench be included with all pianos, it’s that PERFECT

Super easy to put together and my cat loves it too. Awesome product!! It also holds 200+ pounds and feels very sturdy. No creaky sounds, not even a loud slam when you close the lid. It’ll be perfect for my students!! And it’s long enough for duets. Yay!!

I used to struggle to play Moonlight Sonata (especially the part which was in 5 flats, and the parts which were in 4 sharps, which, actually, constitutes all 3 movements of the entire piece, not that there's anything wrong with that).But this piano bench was more comfortable than the cheaper one we were using before, and my fat butt was always not quite perfectly centered, which distracted me from properly reading the accidentals, and I kept mis-playing the naturals at the beginning of movement 1, and then by overcorrecting, I ended up mis-playing the normally-sharped (or flatted) notes further on in the piece, and I also had some trouble with the fingering here and there, all because I have a fat butt.But *this* piano bench is less problematic for overly-puffy rear-ends, and therefore I was able to focus properly on Beethoven, such that I finally made it all the way through all 3 movements of the Moonlight Sonata in less than 2 hours. I did skip a couple of repeated lines, but most of those repeats are just the same notes all over again.At any rate, after spending a lot of quality time with this bench and the sheet music, I have now improved my ability to play Beethoven, Bach, *and* Chopin, and I actually managed not to mis-play Debussy too badly either. My family likes the bench.No one seems to be using the storage space inside the bench, but that's probably okay because we have way too much sheet music to fit into the bench anyhow.All in all, a very good purchase. Beethoven would approve.

Love the bench, adjusts very high. Feels very high-quality. Only thing is that when I got it, there was what looks like white paint or scuff marks on one side. Not a huge deal.
