These work well for what I used them for so far. I've used them for removing flashing from the plastic parts while building model cars. Works well in harder to reach areas.

These sanding sticks are great for fine detailing on models and small woodworking projects. The 280-grit is perfect for smoothing edges, and the stick design makes them easy to handle. My only critique is that the sanding surface wears down quickly on tougher materials, but with 100 in a pack, it’s still a great value.

I’m a newbie to wood carving and had wondered how I was going to sand the small details I had carved. Then I found these, and when I got them, they were perfect! The grit was just right, and smoothed down the rough edges to the amount needed. The pointy ends were able to reach all the areas needing to be sanded. Would definitely order again!

Exactly what I was looking for - and at a great price! I am able to precision sand the wood filler from my mitered corners in my trim. The size is perfect, the holding stick is strong, the grit is versatile. Love it!

I need something to get into the nooks and cranny’s of a drawer trim that i was refinishing for a bathroom vanity. It could get into the corners but just wasn’t as hardy as I would have liked. I used several on one little half inch area. There might be a better use for these than what i needed it for but i am sure it will come in handy down the road with other projects.

I do smaller projects and these don’t work to sand certain area’s. They do work well on larger projects though.

These are a great idea, and some aspects of them are great: the wood is *very* strong (and good for using in other projects once the sanding part is worn off), and the angled cutoff at the end is actually a useful addition - well, OK, subtraction, Heh! ;) - that I've used for moving tiny pieces, gathering glue, smoothing-over things glued into tiny corners, and so on.My disappointment is with the actual sanding head.First, and worst, is that the black adhesive comes off while sanding, which is not such a good thing when using pale, nearly-white woods...Second, though, is that it doesn't sand even relatively soft wood (balsa) all that well. It's not a fine grit per se, but the problem is that the grit which is there, is not very effective. It's passable, mostly, but I was hoping for something a *bit* more effective/"aggressive".
