This is very well made of a thick pvc, it collapses down for storage and is relatively easy to install.

good for use in job sites this duct is very basic. There are a couple of small features, but it is not fancy in any particular way. This may be a feature or a flaw depending on what you're looking for. Simple is good, often. If you have a standard tube-shaped construction blower/fan of this size then the opening should fit over it. The opening and attachment is adjusted by a strap that clamps down. But that is all that holds it in place . If your fan has a lip that should be adequate, if not you might want to add some velcro or double sided tape for extra hold.

I have several of these that I use to vacate dust and debris when working on building remodels. This one has one thing that is highly appreciated - the D-Rings. They allow me to easily hang my duct work overhead, or to pull the ducting up a flight of stairs on tie them off. Extremely handy. That feature alone was why I purchased it. However, it does have a few flaws. It is missing a travel boot, like other ducts have. When you fold it up, you can store the duct away. This one, you need to use rope, or something else to tie it into a bundle. I did deduct a star for that. I assumed it would have one, because almost all of them do.The business end is bulky enough to fit most of the large air handlers on the market. I use the Rigid model fans, and it belts up to it nicely. Smaller units, go with the 8". The 12" duct is for full size blowers. I snapped pics of the throat size. The actual vinyl material is constructed from is a little flimsy compared to others. Time will tell how long it will last. I would have expected a little more ruggedness - but overall it is a decent duct.

I've been using this hose as part of a worksite ventilation system - carrying dust and airborne irritants away from the area and safely outside; so far I am extremely pleased with how portable, lightweight, and (SO FAR!) durable it has been.I've used it to evacuate wood chips, drywall dust, sanding dust, concrete cutting airborne debris, and attic insulation fibers. It's important to note that I am forcing air through this hose, NOT pulling through it. I do not thing it would take well to vacuum forces...So far, very happy with this hose. Zero complaints!

Not sure if it was a good idea or not, but I'll find out over time, I got this to replace a metal dryer vent duct that was very old and giving me trouble. Hoping this will prove easier to maintain over time. Right off the bat it looks like a wise choice, at least. The length helps a lot, too. My utility room is cramped, and this can be threaded to fit proper, open spaces to get where it needs to be. So far, so good.

We normally run exhaust ducting from our axial fans when working with small equipment indoors. Paired with a person Co2 devices and a stationary monitor, this ducting has kept up with our expectations. Good quality at an affordable price.

This duct is 8” in diameter but has a flared opening on one end. I was able to slip that flared opening over a 10.25” diameter round plate with no difficulty. It might stretch to 10.5” but I don’t have anything 10.5” handy to test with.I held down one end of the duct with a heavy weight and stretched it out to measure it’s length. It took a lot of stretching, but I got pretty close to 25 foot before the duct slipped out from under my weight. When I stopped pulling on the duct, it settled down to a length of 23 foot.I’m doing this test on a dark, cold, 53 degree day and the vinyl material the duct is made from is pretty thick and a little stiff. I suspect it would be easy to get 25 foot on a sunny, warm day.I’ll be adding this duct to my hurricane kit. My kit includes a window AC that will work on my generator, and this duct will allow me to share some cold air with an adjoining room. When the power is out for a week in 90 plus temps every little bit of cool air helps.

First thing to know about this Portable flexible duct is that it is very basic. There are a couple of small features, but it is not fancy in any particular way. This may be a feature or a flaw depending on what you're looking for. Simple is good, often. If you have a standard tube-shaped construction blower/fan of the requisite size then the opening should fit over it easily. The size of the opening and attachment is adjusted by a strap that clamps down. But that is all that holds it in place . If your fan has a lip that should be adequate, if not you might want to add some hook and loop tape to help seal the edges and keep it in place. The unit comes with a number of D-rings attached alo g the length of the vent, which should allow you to run a line to suspend it or carry it over an obstacle without a bend. You can also tie it off to objects along the length of the tube to keep it in place -- either to a structure or even a tent stake or ground anchor or a weight like a sandbag. (In any kind of a wind a long tube like this will tend to blow around so some kind of anchor is useful. We would tend to use threaded anchor stakes that get screwed in using a drill gun.)Feels fairly heavy duty, but the proof will be in the number of times it can be deployed and contracted before it has a problem. Only time will tell with that sort of durability test, so if there is an issue going forward this review will be amended.
