I bought this to replace the original Honeywell thermostat. Could not find anywhere local to buy it. A bit disconcerted to see that though it looked identical the name, product number and wiring diagram on the back had changed. Initially wired it like the old one and didn't work. However figured it out with help from a YouTube video and now working perfectly. The old one lasted 11 years.

For starters it’s not a Honeywell it’s their off brand. Second it didn’t work and when I went to send it back I had to pay the shipping. Would not recommend buying from this buyer

After reading other reviews on this listing from other people who had an older one that needed replacing, I felt comfortable enough to give this a try even though it seems hard to nail down the exact same part number. My previous model had PB112B-120GB stenciled inside. New one says PB112D-GA. Based on other feedback I wondered if I might have to add a resistor inline with my already installed floor probe but I tried it without and it shows the correct temp so all seems well. It does look like there is a difference in the GFCI rating with the old stating "15mA GFCI" and the new one stating "Class A GFCI, 5mA". But it works and the old one had failed stuck with a GFCI warning so who knows, maybe this one is more correct for my home. Or it is just working better now but will be more sensitive? I don't know. I am just happy to have a warm floor again.

Solidly constructed and easy to install. This was a replacement for a failed floor heating thermostat I installed about 10 years ago. By comparison this unit is far superior. It has a large display with backlight, and easy to understand buttons for intuitive programming. It came with Aube Technologies labeling, not Honeywell as advertised.

Stuffing all the wires into a conventional switch box is a challenge. Although I rated it as 4 stars for ease of use - it's because you have so many choices in heating times. You must read the enclosed manual! I bought this as a replacement for a unit that kept complaining it was shorting out (GFCI kicked in). I was pretty sure that there was not an electrical problem - I took several readings of resistances and could find no underlying cause. I know it was a bit of a gamble - but ripping up the floor was an option of last resort. New one is installed and working fine. If you are not comfortable working on 120V electrical lines then get a reputable electrician to install it.

We bought this product 17 months ago. I had reservations because I read that sometimes it fails after a year or so and I worried that returning or exchanging it would be an issue. I was right. This failed after 17 months. I tried to contact the 3rd party seller without success. I contacted Amazon support and they reminded me that I had purchased an extra warranty through Asurion. I contacted Asurion and they said the product was still under manufacturer warranty so I needed to contact Honeywell. Honeywell has TERRIBLE customer support. I was trying to deal with all of this on a Saturday so the warranty support department was closed. I called the customer support line from the website and they said the wait on hold would be "over and hour'. I made a batch of cookies while I waited 1 1/2 hours before giving up. I will call the original warranty support number on Monday during work hours to hopefully figure out how to return this product. This was a pretty good product until last week. I'm not saying you should not buy it. Just get it from a brick and mortar store so you can easily return it if it fails.

If you are reading this, you should be pretty familiar with your options. This unit allows for floor sensing and the modes allow you to heat to a targeted floor temperature, targeted air temperature, or a targeted air temperature while controlling the min and max floor temps. It also allows separate schedules each day with 4 settings per day.Things to know about this (if they matter to you):* You can use either 120 or 240v, depending on how you wire it.* The included instructions do NOT agree with the markings on the unit itself. Input/Output are different in the instructions versus the unit itself. I don't know if this is a typo or a translation problem. (I followed the unit markings and it seems to be working well.)* If you opt for a 24-hr (military/European style clock, you can only have CELSIUS temperatures. Otherwise you only get a 12-hr (AM/PM)/Fahrenheit display.* It does have a heat anticipator option if you want it either click on or off at a certain time or if you want it to decide when to turn on and off to reach the target temperature by a certain time.I like it and recommend it.

This is my second TH115. The first one worked perfectly for seven years (I guess that is reasonably good). One day it just died - no display, nothing. I contacted Honeywell support and they responded quickly but the thermostat was finished. The unit can be programmed to suit but I found the out-of-the-box manufacturer's program fine. My only complaint is that $150 it should last longer than seven years given that it is turned off six months a year.

We purchased this thermostat to replace our 6-year old Nuheat programmable thermostat that was installed in our master bathroom that failed. We didn't want a Wi-Fi connected thermostat, or anything with a touchscreen, which is funny since our home is so connected. We just wanted a nice, basic, 7-day programmable thermostat for our heated floor and this one fit the bill. The installation was fairly simple and there is a wiring diagram on the back of the unit for additional reference. The thermostat powered up immediately after the breaker was turned back on and it's been working all day.The seller had fast shipping and followed up with an email confirming that we had received the product -- very nice. I would recommend this seller and this unit if you are looking for something that has just enough bells and whistles.

I left a 5-star review for the seller. The product gets 4-stars because the original unit (same model, but purchased and installed by a remodeling contractor) lasted The original unit's display had gone blank. After verifying there was power to the unit, I bought the replacement, which was also blank. The seller had sent a nice email (via Amazon) to thank us for the purchase and say we should contact them if there were any problems. So I contacted them to ask about troubleshooting the unit. All representatives were busy, so I left a message. Mark, the owner, promptly returned the call. He was extremely professional, friendly, patient, and helpful. As it turned out, I had wired the unit exactly as the old one had been, but the wire pattern has changed. Note to self: always read the instructions. In fact, I had read the instructions - but I was reading the old users manual, which I had pulled out of a filing cabinet when troubleshooting the original unit. Second note to self: make sure you're looking at the correct manual. However, if I'd been paying attention, the wiring diagram is also on the back of the unit. I did not look closely at it because I'd already read the (wrong) manual. So if you are buying this as a replacement, BEWARE!It must be a common problem, because Mark guessed at it right away. Problem solved with Mark's courteous help. Thank you!Greg Harrington (on behalf of wife Mary, who's account was used for the purchase)
