This replaced a 30yr old box. The old box did not have the thermostat connection that this one does. I had to run a couple of wires from the thermostat connection from the controller to the box so that this one would "trigger". Resolved an issue of the burner not running smoothly at times and eventually tripping the reset button. All maintenance was performed prior to replacement(filter, nozzle, electrodes and had a steady stream of fuel when bleeding). I mention the steady stream of fuel when bleeding, because a partially clogged line from the tank will cause this symptom.
