I bought this product January 2024. After I received it I realized it wasn't The Honeywell brand that was advertised but I needed it so I used it. I turned my boiler on for this winter season It worked December but then overheated my boiler in January 2025 and then quit working.They have no product support for this particular item.The support that they offer is from Honeywell and Honeywell says that is a knock-off brand that they don't cover.

Quit working after a month and a half went out to check furnace wasn't working no circulator pump no power in the box had power everywhere else!!!!!!

I thought I was getting a Honeywell but instead got a Resideo in which the circulator relay buzzes loudly. It works, annoyingly, but for how long with that buzz? Keep in mind this unit was under 200 bux just a few yrs ago and I had to pay 340 + tax. Outsourcing doubled the price and only cost them their reputation for quality. Blah.

The replacement Aquastat L8124A works ok. However, It sometimes makes a loud buzzing, which is caused by the circulator relay. Tapping the box or the relay makes the buzzing go away. But it should not be doing this, is noisy, and may reduce its lifetime.This product is made by Resideo, a spinoff of Honeywell. Resideo support seems non-existent.Update: Resideo said there is no customer support for this, need to go through a contractor. How antiquated.Happy to report that fixed the buzzing by ++carefully++ bending the top of the relay, so the actuator makes better contact with the metal body. Electromagnetic loop closed, and no buzzing in relay...

I have a corn/pellet burning boiler and the original aqua stat went bad. I found this in at a great price and its exactly the one that I needed to replace be bad one.
