My central air maintenance technician said that I really needed this brand. He said these are the only brand that doesn't allow air to leak around the filter. They are supposed to last 6 months. I have to change it lots more often because I have so much pet hair and dander

This filter fit perfectly in my Honeywell Media Air Cleaner. It’s the exact same filter that came with the air cleaner.

If you own a genuine Honeywell Filter Assembly be sure to purchase genuine Honeywell filters. These generic filters simply don’t fit well in the assembly and allow air to blow by.

The filter that came was partly quashed and looked more like a copy of a Honeywell filter rather than OEM part.The construction of the filter didn't seem as strong and all the markings and print was poor quality and black instead of the OEM colors and quality.

Definitely as advertised. These fit snugly into the media filter slot. The one I replaced was identical to this one and did a great job at removing dust, dirt and pollen from the air stream keeping airborne allergines out of the house. While I'm not the greatest fan of media filters in general, they do a much better job than standard 1 inch filters and don't need to be replaced a lot. They have significantly more surface area which improves airflow and loading on your circulation fan so overall, a good benefit. When the time comes to replace, I'll hit the reorder button!

Usually filters are a bit smaller than listed dimensions for a margin of error. I have ordered numerous 16x20x4 filters with no problems till now. I was away and finally came around to installing it except the filter is actually Bigger!! It's 16x20x4.4 inches. Obviously too big so now I'm stuck with a literal paperweight. Seriously Honeywell your suppose to be a good company. List your filters accurately. Obviously don't buy this 16x20x4 from honeywell as it won't fit those dimensions.
