They cost $7.69 back in July 2016. Most basic Ademco sensors seem to have doubled in the last couple of years. Not sure of all the stimulus was worth it.

My door sensor became corroded and I needed a replacement. This sensor was an excellent drop in replacement. My existing sensor was 1/2" size, but with a couple of o-rings, this sensor was easy to install without a need for soldering cables. The existing magnet in the door worked fine with it and I left the RE magnet that came with it alone. The screw terminal contacts were easy to terminate the sensor cables into. After inserting the sensor into the door frame opening, I applied a dab of silicone caulk around the sensor edges to seal the opening.
