The box focuses on embossing (powder embossing). This is my main reason for purchasing. It melted the powder and didn't blow the powder away. Was fun to play with for the price. I probably won't be using it again lol. Highly recommend it for crafting purposes.

I love using this to shrink wrap bath bombs! It does get hot, but I don’t keep it in one place too keep it moving around. Great choice for my purpose!

This heat gun is great and I have had zero issues with mine. Just use common sense and keep an eye on how warm the device is getting and be sure to not push it so much so quickly that you melt the cap like so many are complaining about in other reviews. The build quality of the item is good and sturdy especially considering how cheap this is, 100% worth the cost.

I've melted CD/DVDs into feathers and flowers!!! Can only do single piece at a time, but I'm okay with that. Tried melting in my oven but definitely not repeating that!! When using the oven the toxic fumes released were so awful and highly toxic that anyone within 2 miles might easily have thought they needed to call the fire department right away! Great heat tool. Easy to grip and use even though I need carpal tunnel surgery in both wrists!

I use this for my resin and it works really good for popping bubbles deep in my resin bowl but you gotta get really close which is no problem with me. I use art resin so idk if that plays a role in it. It take about 3 seconds to get heated up good. To eliminate as much bubbles as possible, pour a think layer of resin then blow dry, then pour some more then repeat. My resin is either bubble free after using this or has the tiniest bubbles that not just anyone would see.

There are so many heat tools and it took me forever to choose one. I didn't even know where to begin. I finally chose this one. It wasn't the prettiest, but I'd be mad at myself just for picking the pretty one. It's actually not quite this color. It's more golden yellow, which is nice. I love it and am very happy. I chose this one for a couple if reasons. Someone suggested I get an industrial one but I thought hard about that. Yes, I'm an artist and could have used a high temp, but I work indoors in a small studio with lots of art around. I decided I don't need that. This one has TWO settings and most others come with one. It also gets a bit hotter than the others. It's got a decent length cord. I made my choice based on the reviews and what I needed it fir: embossing, drying paint between layers, and some work with clay. This tool lists all those uses on the package and I feel Ike I made the best choice. It's nice quality and fits in my hand. It's exactly as I wanted and need it to be and a great price. If you are an artist or a crafter then this is a tool you will be happy to have. MUCH better than the brand name tool that looks like a cheap little hair dryer and costs almost double. I'm very happy.
