We bought this for a crafty two year old who likes to turn on the lights when he’s fighting nap time. At first, we thought he’d never figure out the rotating latch, so we didn’t install the secondary locking mechanism on top. We sorely underestimated this kid ;)Within 2 weeks, he was stacking his books to reach the mechanism and once again turning the lights on. It was time to install the secondary lock, but we couldn’t find the extra piece. I inquired with Dennis about ordering a replacement, and he sent me a replacement (no charge) the very next day.Just incredible customer service. Not easy to find these days. Thank you Dennis!!

This does a great job stopping my son from switching the hall lights off and on and toggling the switch in between the two positions. I like that you have to turn the knob and you have to press in the top plate to cause the cover to move up. It gives me peace of mind that if my son does realizes how to open it, he won't quite be able to.

It does a great job blocking my kiddo from flipping the lights on and off repeatedly when I’m in the kitchen! Also very easy to use myself. I can one handed open it and slide it up but it’s definitely too hard for my 18mo old! There is also a locker that makes it even more difficult for kiddo to open for when she does figure out the current set up! Looks very nice! Fit just like the regular switch cover. Cheaper than many other less effective options too!

It takes my 2 year old twins about 3 seconds to open this. It’s sadly more cumbersome for the parents with full arms to use.

Our toddler had just figured out how to climb up the couch and hit the light switches. This completely stopped that! Worked well. We use it without the latch bar it came with because it was confusing to figure out how it works. The lock box it self is enough though.

TLDR; An amazing product where the owner will try his best to work with his customers on their needsI've recently switched a room over to smart lights and want something that looks nice to cover the existing switches so the kids will not accidentally turn them off. After looking for a while, I came across this product. It fits my needs and it doesnt look out of place when installed to the walls. Fast forward to when I receive the product, I notice I made a mistake... one of my switch is a dimmer and it sticks out too much for the plate to be covered. After reading reviews here, I decided to reach out to the shop and ask about customization. Dennis replied promptly and gave me the pricing quote and laid down the process of what he needs to create a prototype for me. He also gave me the option to purchase AFTER he created the prototype, so I don't have to purchase if I don't want to. Overall, the process is smooth and it took him a day or 2 to send me the pix of the prototype. After inspecting the photo, I decided to make the purchase and Dennis ship out the item super fast. I got the product today and have it installed and am super satisfied with it.Oh. And of course, the product looks and works perfectly once I've installed it.

Exactly what i was looking for!Problem:We have battery operated fan switches that are mounted into the wall just like a light switch. My 3 year old figured out how to remove the battery department and he would then proceed to hide it around the house. This posed two problems. He would almost always forget where he hid the battery and what if he decided to eat it instead, or worse, our new baby found it and ate it! My wife wanted to swap all of the switches out. I figured there had to be an easier way to solve this.Solution:The baby switch guard is perfect! It is incredibly easy to install and set up. The real test was the following morning when my son noticed the new plates. He seemed pretty confident he would figure them out, but after 10-15 seconds, he gave up and just walked away. He hasn't tried again since! As an added bonus, since this product covers two switches, we have also solved the problem of lights being turned off and on repeatedly in the rooms!The amazing:Dennis, the designer of this product, is awesome! He returned my emails promptly and made sure to ask the right questions to make sure his product would work for me. I also mentioned to him that I have one more switch i'd like covered, but it's inside a 4up plate. I couldn't believe it when I checked my email a few days later and he had put together a mock up for a 4up plate and is taking it to production!!!!I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the overall experience. Customer service at its finest!Thanks!
