The mop sells for $17 or $19, depending on where you look in Amazon, but ultimately costs 19 [plus an additional shipping fee of $11 that shows up when you actually go to pay for the item. The refill "sponge" mop heads are $9 apiece with additional shipping. Do not rush over the picture of 2 sponges that are meant to depict the front and back of one sponge that you are meant to buy.

This is an okay basic sponge mop, though there are problems with it that led me to give only a 3 rating: first, the sponge itself is disappointingly thin and not robustly made. Though I've only used it a few times since I bought it, the sponge is already disintegrating and small bits are peeling off, leaving not much in place. I ordered the mop since my previous one no longer provides sponge replacements -- an annoying problem I note many others have had. Also, the squeeze function is messy, as in order to squeeze out the sponge, it requires one to use a metal part towards the bottom of the mop, meaning you get your hands wet in doing so! So I'm reluctantly trying out the rag mops we have on hand, even though I do ordinarily prefer a sponge mop, if it's a good one!

I had one of these mops many years ago and then I could not find it in the stores anymore. I tried probably 20 different mops since then and all were not up to the job for various reason. All were gimmicky. I finally found the long lost mop on Amazon and even though I had to pay quite a bit for shipping, it was well worth it. If you want a mop, without bells and whistles that don't work, and that truly does the job it was developed for then get this one. I use it with Pink Stuff cleaner and its amazing!
