I use this in my closet and it smells wonderful but the powder has a lot of chunks so you have to really shake it up to break em up. The scent doesn't last as long as similar products but it still smells good.

After a holiday party my home was smelling stale that is until I sprinkled the Refresh carpet freshener in my living room. When I tell you the scent took over my whole house after vacuuming I was in heaven!

I needed to refresh a large carpeted room but wanted a fragrance that was a bit different. This product fit the bill. Fragrance is refreshing (perhaps heavy for anyone sensitive) and lasts a few hours. It comes in a shareable container (like some Parmesan cheeses!) with two options- shake or pour. Even on the shake setting, it comes out quickly. I had used almost the whole container for my one large carpeted room and that was using it sparingly.I recommend buying it but it is expensive- I found that using 1/2 then filling it up with baking soda & mixing helps to prolong the product.

The freshener has a great scent, but it quickly goes away. I doubt that it lasted more than 30 minutes. I gave it three stars for odor elimination and freshness because the scent didn't last. The shaker is extremely free-hearted, the holes are too big for the product, so be careful or you'll have a big pile of freshener in one spot. I like the fact that the ingredients are all natural. We have a pet bird, so it's safe to use around him. Be forewarned the baking soda and borax make a fine power that requires a powerful vacuum to get the stuff out of your carpet, fortunately I own one. Three stars overall because it's hard to vacuum up without a really good vacuum and the oversized holes in the shaker.
