These are probably the best notecards I have found yet. In the past I have gotten the cheap kind from the grocery/convenience store. However for a particular nursing school exam “cheat sheet” I needed a specific dimension. I went with the portrait layout as I thought it would be best. In the end I ended up forgetting these at home and using a friend’s extras of the cheap store brand and that cheat sheet barely survived the exam. (I have a habit of picking at the corner of papers when stressed..)Anyways I tossed these in my clinicals bag and it was probably the smartest thing I’ve done unintentionally. I somehow still have plenty of them left. And find myself grabbing them for all sorts of small page needs from writing quick todo lists to short letters and even making mini study sheets.I will be buying again as soon as i get close to running out which might be after graduation as I still have plenty.I said this in the title these are a heavy weight I wish I knew the exact weight as I’d try to find notebooks and other stationary in this weight for every writing need. I am a lefty and also with ADHD I find loose leaf paper gets the pleasure of being loose in my bags. These note cards are thick enough to survive that. In fact i currently keep about a dozen or so in one of the smaller compartments of my backpack and every time i pull one out there’s no sign of bent corner or other damage one would expect from a notecard just hanging out in the side pocket.I have no complaints about this product I only wish in hindsight I had bought a pack or two of the more traditional 3x5 size as I find myself using those to write out my weekly assignments for each class as it would be a waste of the larger ones as most classes have between 3-7 assignments which fit well on a smaller card. It would barely take up half the larger cards I have of this brand. But that is buyer error not an error of the cards.

I use these cards to both use as a bookmark and to write notes on while reading. These cards seem to be much more substantial than the index cards I would get at my local Staples. Like 3 of those index cards might be close to the stiffness of just one of these cards. It took me a bit to get used to them since I kept thinking I was picking up multiple cards at once. They're that substantial

The vertical rule allows for more versatility of the card and allows for more coherent writing space. Easier to make list of things or use card more like a notebook. BOTH SIDES OF CARD ARE RULED so the usefulness continues on the backside. Once you try them you will be hooked. Cards are sturdy and a good thickness with no bleed through even though I use gel ink pens. Wish they came in a larger quantity…

I am exceptionally pleased with these cards. I'm using them to handwrite old family recipes as a Xmas gift. The cards are quite stiff and heavy, more than your basic 3x5 cards. They take any kind of ink (I did a test sheet!), and even fountain pen ink creates ZERO bleed. Matte surface, lined on both sides. 50 cards make up a stack 3/4th inch high! I am very very happy with this product.

If you want to keep track of your equipment maintenance and or run times, these cards are for you. The vertical ruled lines allows for a date and a brief description of the maintenance performed or use. And they are ruled on both sides, so you can get double the use out of them. These are thick enough to stand up in a shop or garage type environment. Used with an adhesive slip pocket, you can keep your information right on the equipment for quick reference. I feel this is useful for small engines that require frequent maintenance, such as small generators, air purifiers that require filter cleaning and replacement and anything else that has a relatively clean and sufficient surface to adhere an adhesive slip pocket to, that you want to keep track of.
