Works well and keeps mattress in place, comes with allen wrench to tighten supplied screws, screws have protective tip. Brackets came a little bit beat up, paint in threaded holes made screws a bit tight. Overall does what it's designed to do, rounded edges reduces injury but still would hurt if caught on bracket.

These work and don't work at the same time. I needed these for my daughter's twin bed. No problem, except they're not even close to the bed not even snug. The problem is if you forget they're there, you can really get hurt. You know how sometimes you can slide off the bed, imagine doing that and getting caught on the end of one of these things. It will not feel good. I don't think it should be described as universal fit because it's definitely not for a twin mattress/bed.They're a no for me.

We recently got a new bed frame and it did not have any stops to keep the mattress from sliding around. These stops were extremely easy to install and are doing a great job at keeping the mattress in place.

I have a new twin sized bed, and when my grandson was here recently, his box springs slid over the edge of the bedframe. It moved way too much when he got in and off the bed. Since the bed is white metal, I wanted to find something white that I could use to stop the box springs from moving off the edge of the bedframe. The box springs still moves a little but these prevent it from sliding off the frame. For a twin size bed, four is sufficient. For the price, these work well.
