This batting is awesome! It arrives vacuum sealed, making it super easy to store until you need it, and once you open it, it expands a lot. It’s about an inch thick, & consistently fluffy throughout. It's easy to cut with sharp scissors. I’m using it for different projects, and I really appreciate how I can just cut the amount I need. It’s been a pleasure to sew with with the right needle & enough space to work. It is thick, soft, & perfect for what I’m working on!

This batting feels soft and fluffy. I'm hoping I can use it for quilt batting. You get 10 yards for the price, which is amazing. I find the cost of batting can be cost-prohibitive for some people when you want to start quilting. If it works, this is a good alternative.

I was worried when I ordered this that it wasn't going to be fluffy enough and have a smell because of the vacuum sealing. I was pleasantly surprised! Especially since I didn't think the envelope could possibly hold that much batting. It didn't have the chemical smell some items come with. Once the seal was broken and it started expanding out of the bag it was like watching an eruption of fluff. I let it sit out overnight and the thing grew to the size of my kitchen table. Definitely enough to complete my quilt. It's about an inch thick and very consistent throughout the whole roll but not hard to cut with good scissors. It went through my basic home sewing machine fine, but it was a lot of weight management. If anything, that was the only downside to this product, it was so thick and fluffy I had to cut it into smaller sections because the large piece was so unwieldy to maneuver. It didn't shed all over the place and held together really well while being sewn. So far it hasn't bunched or rolled inside the casing while I'm working with it. I would buy this stuff again but the volume that you get is enough to complete a queen size quilt and I'll probably have enough left over to fill in some cushions that have gotten saggy. I haven't washed it yet because the quilt is not even close to finished! So, I don't know how it will hold up to washing but it feels great and will be amazing when I finally get this thing done.

This comes vacuum sealed in a bag and its thickness makes it very versatile on ways to use it, nice item.

I was expecting a massive box but was pleased when I got this very tightly vacuum packed item. The batting itself is good. It works as it's supposed to.

First, take note of the delivery time for this. It took a little over three weeks to arrive for me.When I received this in a tight little vacuum sealed bundle, I was expecting an explosive expansion. It did not. It relaxed outwards slightly. There is a decent amount of fiber in this product, but the fiber lacks the springiness that a good polyester quilt or comforter has.I mainly used it as dacron for homemade cushions. It serves the aesthetic purpose of dacron and helps plump up the appearance of a cut foam cushion. However, it's disappointing to the touch, as it yields immediately and all you'll feel is the shape of the foam underneath.After waiting on this for so long to finish a bunch of projects, I'm disappointed. Serves me right for cheaping out, I guess. I expected too much from this budget buy.

This worked for filling out new couch cushions. Note that the 10 yards refers to the length of you separate the layers, which would likely destroy the integrity of the product. Fortunately, 5 yards (as in 15’) was just enough for my project.
