This 100% cotton batting is huge! At 120x120 inches there is enough for several projects. Came vacuum sealed in a double plastic bag. It feels very soft and would drape well in a quilt. I only gave it 4 stars because it says "white" but in reality it is "natural" in color, so won't work on my quilt with the white background. It also seems thinner than other batting I have purchased, but because it's so big, it could easily be doubled over.

This batting is extremely thin & tears with very gentle handling. Thickness is not consistent throughout. Can see through some areas & not in others. It is warm & fluffy. Would never buy again.

Product had an odor, not good. Batting was extremely thin. Not really happy with the product but will use it .

This HOMBYS cotton batting is excellent and thin, yet warm. I am very impressed with the quality. The large size makes it great for a full or larger size quilt, or multiple lap quilts, which is perfect.

This is a very soft, cotton cut of batting. It's smoother than many of the cotton battings I buy - I didn't feel any of those little bumps/knots in it. I like this, and I have the perfect use for it - a quilt I've been slowly working on for a couple of years (when I get the time to work on personal projects). It's a quilt for a California King size bed, so once it's pieced, I'll just unfold this batting and lay it in the middle of the quilt sandwich. I'm pleased with the good quality of this batting.

Going off of the description:Made of 100% cotton? Appears to be true. It passed the burn test. There are specks of plant material throughout and it definitely smells, strongly, of nature and not chemicals. It is unbleached and with the specks of material throughout, it's not something I'd use for a white or light colored quilt.Soft? The batting is very soft to touch, even more so than other cottons I've tried.Warm and fluffy? Doubtful. This batting is what I would consider very low loft. It's the kind that gives quilts a flowy drape. I would use it for a summer quilt and English paper piecing, not for warmth. Not easy to tear? Totally incorrect. This batting has no scrim and I was able to easily pull off a corner for testing. It separated as easily as roving. This batting will require much closer quilting than polyester or natural batting with scrim, and I don't think it would hold up long if tied. The batting is certainly large enough for a king quilt with drape and possibly a pillow tuck, depending on how much of each you prefer. I think I will end up using it for lightweight baby quilts that will be easy to wrap up and snuggle in or for hand sewn projects since it is very soft, easy to manipulate, and doesn't seem to affect how the needle glides nor did it catch when I tested it. I'm really happy with those aspects.Whatever this batting is used for, it needs to be washed when finished. The smell is quite distinct.

Traditional lightweight quilt batting; big enough for a king size quilt.

This batting is very soft and quilts nicely. It is has a loose construction so spreads and tears easily. I found it a little difficult to work with as I tried to layer and maneuver my quilt. I think a closer quilting pattern will be better to prevent shifting once the quilt is done. Overall my finished quilt is lightweight and soft.
