I got this for a Halloween costume and got a lot of compliments. It’s a rich black, the feathers are gorgeous and the whole thing is really striking. The only drawback is that it does smell slightly like poultry—but that does let you know they’re real feathers. However, the scent's not really noticeable and it didn’t transfer to me or my other clothing. I don’t use cologne, but that or perfume might have covered the slight scent.

Unfortunately, the batch of feathers I received were in reeeally bad condition. Over half the feathers were almost see through because of many thin spots, damaged chunks missing, or generally poor condition of the feathers themselves. They are black and glossy but unless you are layering them on top of each other or using against a black background, they can't be used as stand alone because you can clearly see the thin spots and damaged places. Bummer.***Update: they responded super quickly and offered a full return!! Much appreciated and will order from them again. Thank you!

Used this for my daughter’s costume, and I looked great. Fair quality for the price. Easy to just sew right along the edges of fabric.

Worked great for my costume. No complaints. The feathers are nice, great color, soft ribbon so it's comfortable to tie on. Good quality and size. Everything just as described.
