I dive freshwater quarries all the time, and also participate in ocean charter dives when able. My Hollis semidry is by far the best dive suit I've owned. It is easy to get in/out of, extremely comfortable, and keeps most of my body very warm even in cold water. I would recommend, however, that an additional pullstring be added to the front zipper. I added one to mine in order to allow easier closure. The side pockets are ample, but the pulls are difficult to grab when using dive gloves. I added longer velcro strips to make them easier to pull open or close.Other than that, I LOVE the suit and would buy it again.

would have given zero stars, I will never purchase anything hollis again, zipper broke a tooth on second use, hollis refused to repair . I bought it in the summer, didn't use till winter, they said it was out of warranty, super lame . The one time I used it was extremely difficult to get into, wouldn't recommend this suit for anything unless you enjoy expensive disappointment for cheap products made with Chinese plastic zippers, yes, plastic teeth, plastic pulls, what would you expect , I would suggest the 6mill neotec for half the price! or Xcell makes a killer 7/6 hydroflex ultra stretch suit for 279 dollars, i would highly recommend it over this hollis non stretch garbage suit. there are many better options for about half the price. I work in water leak detection services, i spend 325 days a year in and under water, been doing it seven years. This review is based on experience, my personal disdain for hollis is one thing but there suits really fall short in quality and materials ,for the price it is a shame. the cheap zippers and lack of customer care shows me they dont care about customers and wont back their own product, no wonder , they have they charge double the competition.

So far this has been a great suit. Easy to get on and off compared to older 7mm suits I've owned and no issues zipping it up myself which is nice. The pockets are nice and big but the velcro has me concerned for longevity. I've dove temperature ranges from 53 to 75 and have been comfortable on all my dives. I'm 6'4" 190lbs and the fit (XL) is pretty good. I wish it was a little longer with a little less room in the hips and mid section but overall I can't complain.

Had to return mine due to the sizing chart from hollis not being correct. Putting in the order for a xlarge. If your guessing your size, then go up one unless your really medium/thin. The construction on this suit is amazing, looking forward to the next one.
