Dunno what's up with generic packaging and the lack of instructions--especially since the price isn't discounted nor is this mentioned in the listing.Regardless, works like a champ. This was professionally installed for me by Competitions Carbs in Sparks, Nevada as part of a tweaking of my factory 4180C on a 1985 5.0L Ford. I wanted to keep as original as possible, and this achieves that while providing me the option of rejetting the carb, though that seems unnecessary given how well it ran out of the box from Comp Carbs. At the least, it allowed me to upgrade the secondaries to accommodate my new heads and other updates so the car runs as it should while being a very stealthy improvement.

I'm not pleased with this purchase from Allstate Carburetor. First and foremost, the item was not in the original Holley packaging. To make matters even worse they didn't include the correct longer screws that come from Holley with the metering block kit. Thankfully I had another 4160 laying around and was able to repurpose the screws. I'd advise ordering for somewhere else since they can't be bothered to send you everything that the kit comes with. 4 screws aren't worth the lousy 4 bucks I saved, or the convenience of ordering it from Amazon.

No where does it say this is a secondarty metering block to replace a metering plate.This is not drilled for a power valve and useless for what I needed.I should return it and might yet.
