I'm a size 9 mens and these socks are too tight/small. I'm hoping for some stretch after washing and wearing.

These are on the small side. Even upon arrival, they appeared to be stretched to their limits on the cardboard holders that the socks were placed on - looking like they might be close to ripping at the seam.Although they were tighter than I ideally wanted, I wore them around a bit upon receipt and realized they would still work well on my feet. However, these are 100% cotton and after washing are way too small for me to wear - they actually hurt my toes.There are some measurements in the product description and my foot is far less 12 inches long, so I thought that these would fit based on that, but it wasn't close. I'm usually around a men's size 11 and I think you would need to be under a men's size 10 for these to really fit.With all that said, I did quite like them when I was wearing for a brief time before the wash. They were breathable, didn't slip off my feet, and were perfect with wearing with my recover sandals after a long run.
