We bought 6 single closet racks for an old house without closets. They hold a lot. Can be put together in 15 easy minutes once you put one together. Heavy duty. Bars bend inward until the final bar goes in. There is a high and low height feature. Make sure the little ball pops out to hold it in the high level. This company makes one with a bottom shelf too. Both work the same. I would advise getting 2 singles instead of a double. They are heavy when they are full. And a double takes up more space than 2 singles.

I’m using this as extra hanging space in my walk in closet for my dresses. I needed something sturdy that I can overstuff if needed. So far I have around 50-ish light weight dresses and the rack does become slightly wobbly (note that I’m using this on carpet). My dresses definitely are no where near 250 lbs combined. I’ve only used up two thirds of the rack space so there’s room for more garments. However, I don’t think I would recommend this for your everyday clothes and for stuffing/using up every inch of the rack. But, for my purposes this will do because I don’t dig into my dresses daily. Only time will tell if it holds up.If I were to be truly honest, kind of disappointed that I paid this much for a wobbly rack.
