The spacers help to minimize drag on your bearings, making your bearings spin smoothly. They also help your bearings from collapsing. The solid aluminum construction dissipates heat and will last longer than other plastic.
Do you have a need for speed?
This is an upgrade you will feel immediately. We use super hard Chrome Steel balls that measure 65 on the Rockwell Scale; each ball is tested to ensure that is perfectly round. The balls run in deep-grove race ways, and are retained by a self-lubricating Delrin crown.
A low viscosity synthetic oil has been added to make these bearings spin great, while keeping friction levels at a minimum. Each bearing feature dual rubber shields(seals) to protect the bearing from dust and other contaminates. The shields also make this bearing completely serviceable.
First you need to place the first bearing into the wheel, use your inline star tool to help you. Than you want to place the stepped spacer inside of the wheel, as shown above.
After you have placed the stepped spacer inside the wheel you want to use the inline star tool to help you press in the other bearing.
Than you want to line up you wheel with the holes on the roller blade and slide the axle through.
Once you get the axle through you can screw the axle nut onto the axle. Use your inline star tool to help you get it tight

Played roller hockey 25+ years, needed new bearings, figured I’d go w abec 9s. At best, these “abec 9s” could be categorized as ABEC 3s. While the bearings were smooth, they simply weren’t up to par. Getting refund.

My 10 year old replaced the bearings on his skates by himself. Very smooth and quick, definately a huge upgrade from the stock bearings that came with his hockey skates. Worth the cost.
